(Donations from others are also accepted, to help those who may have difficulties getting the Pretty Pink Mums!) All the items will be given to a single, trustworthy group member who will hold onto them until the amount need is achieved. When the enough item are collected, the holder will trade it for the gene as Swipp’s stand and the gene will be raffled out to one of the members of the group. Everyone will have an equal chance at winning the gene if they made the minimum payments. [u]This will continue until everyone in the group gets the gene, each player will only be able to get it once to allow everyone to get it.[/u] This is basically a FR “chit” fund. I'd be interested but i am too low level to gather any pink mums anytime soon
and ah prices make me feel ill

This is a neat idea, consider me interested! (I have the dried petals, and I'm a high enough level to gather the pink mums; which should be a requirement for this I think)

Anyways, if you don’t have a high enough gathering level you could always buy them until you reach that level! At least you don’t have to pay for all 20 Pretty pink mums at once for a chance to get the gene?[emoji=spiral sad size=1]

Noted, however if the players are willing to buy them I don’t think it should be much of a problem... maybe a group can be made of the people who are buying them so that the people who can gather them don’t feel like they are being cheated? The group of people who can gather the mums might be quicker at acquiring the gene.

considering only 1 pink mum costs over 200g, that isn't any cheap investment either

@MoonlitCacti I mean, if people want to spend all that money just to buy one and not win the gene once everything is gathered and traded in, then sure.

For those of us who can forage the flowers from gathering turns, it might take a little longer (three days of all my gathering turns, and I have yet to get one) but in the end we wont have lost anything more that a flower, not a flower that we bought with 275g.

I'm not necessarily saying we should exclude those who can't gather for the flowers, but it might be more of an investment for them to buy the flower and not get anything back for the first few times we do the exchange.

I don't know, it's something to think about at least.
