You're walking down the docks along the Water-Light border, admiring the ships heading out on the expedition to find the Tidelord, when you notice a small boat that wasn't there earlier. Curious, you wander over. A Mirror, a Wildclaw, and a Nocturne in seafaring clothes are unloading supplies from the boat onto the pier right in front of it. You watch as they set down what looks like a desk, and then some cushion-covered crates behind and next to the desk. The Mirror and Wildclaw take out a roll of cloth and stretch it across the bow of the ship behind the desk, revealing it to be a banner with the words [i]Letters from the Exalted[/I] written on it.

It's the Mirror who notices you first. "Ahoy there, matey!" He greets you as you approach. "I'm Seaweed, an' over there is Mariela -" he points to the Wildclaw, and then to the Nocturne - "An' Shimmerglow. Curious 'bout what we're doin' here, aren't 'cha?" He nods in understanding as he and the Wildclaw nail the corners of the banner into the boat. "Our little boat here 's in charge of mail delivery - messages between the Exalted an' their loved ones, aye, and packages from the Sea to the expedition-goers too, but this year we're also deliverin' letters from the Exalted to the general public as well."

The Wildclaw nods. "Dat's right. Last year's letters sharin' the experiences of our Exalts after Exaltation proved popular enough that the higher-ups wanted to do it again. So this year, once the expedition to find Tidelord sets sail, we'll be followin' it and bringin' back y'all letters from the expedition-goers, so dat y'all'll know what our Exalts and your clanmates are gettin' up to. Though, Seaweed and I are just sailin' the boat. Shimmerglow's the one keepin' track o' all the letters." She jerks her thumb at the Nocturne, who's currently seated behind the desk on one of the crates.

"We'll be delivering everyone eleven letters from the Exalts over the course of the Wavecrest Saturnalia - one letter from an Exalt of each flight. Each letter will not only describe the Exalt's personal experiences on the expedition, but will also discuss how Exalted dragons from their flight are contributing to the expedition as well. If you're interested in reading these letters, you can write your name down here and we'll contact you when a new letter's arrived."
