Called Crescents & Creatures, the game consists of a party leader who narrates the story and a group of players who play along to the story, using characters of their own creation and relying on their luck as they [b]roll the dice[/b]. Just as Shadowbinder was calculating how much damage the first boss of their game would take from her party members’ attacks, a celadon glow took hold of the die she rolled for the creature, and within seconds the being that had stared at her from the pages of the Creature Guide quickly slid from the table, its glowing form disappearing into the Tangled Wood. A terrifying screech echoed through the woods. The creature had taken over the Tangled Wood. Its appearance hard to determine, for its hide shifts between multiple colours, and intricate patterns adorn its body. Every dragon or familiar touched by this creature vanishes into thin air. They end up in a strange place, populated by magical creatures and mighty heroes; the ones left behind, though, are unaware of the existence of such a place.
