Flight Rising Discussion

I conducted a survey three weeks ago about ALL of the colors of Flight Rising. Here are the results. These are the colors that people who self-reported as each gender liked more or less than average. Flight did not seem to have a consistent effect on what colors were favored Here were the results for Water [img]https://i.imgur.com/0nSH8if.png[/img] And for Light, the flight with the most submissions [img]https://i.imgur.com/AN6RkIZ.png[/img]

Findings

• The average of all scores was 3.1
• Seems like very dark and very light colors tended to be popular
• The least popular colors tended to be greens
• Didn't expect Tarnish or Eldritch to be so controversial
• Grays tended to be uncontroversial
• The top colors for players of all genders was very similar, so I didn't bother to make a chart
• Didn't expect Male players to like Pistachio and not favor red colors
• Goldenrod was the color most divided by gender
• Some colors were not in the top 20 most popular by average, but they received few 1 or 2 votes: Blackberry, Azure, Sky, Caribbean, Gold, Shadow
• Conversely, Thistle, Spring, Carrot and Taupe received a lot of 1/2 votes even though they didn't appear on the top 20 least popular list

oh wow, pretty interesting to see these results;; all the female favoured colours are the ones I dislike and the male favoured colours are the ones I like best;; also I love goldenrod haha

VERY interesting. There's some colors up there I didn't expect to rate the way they did.

Dang, I was hoping shamrock was going to be up there in the disliked colors. Now I know I'm just weird in my dislike of it.

This is so interesting though! Vermillion being one of the most disliked isn't too surprising, it's such a hard color to work with so it's no wonder it's up there. What REALLY surprises me is that flint's up there, being a greyscale color. I would've never guessed!
