“Stop them!” Socks and Stellei were currently running around with the Observatory’s security forces with them, trying to figure out what they were supposed to do with the Shade that seemed to be multiplying quickly.
“We can’t stop them! Herd them somewhere! Away from everyone!” Stellei was trying to help out while Socks went around and made sure that everyone had something glowing on them. “Quick, take one and stay together!”
Suddenly the ground started to shake, everyone cowering in fear thinking that somehow Dad had managed to possibly destroy the world...again. But soon Diog came running in shouting something that could barely be heard over the noise of the other dragons.
“They are here!! The ritual, it worked!!” And behind Diog was three towering dragons, a sort of mesmerizing aura around them. It was like the three dragons together were just as large as the Arcanist, but in a different way you know? They commanded the room, and the Shade was afraid of them. One by one, little by little, the wisps of Shade started to disappear, the three dragons eventually standing in the middle as all of the dragons gathered around. Some had no idea who they were, but Socks was super excited.
Smiling, the small snapper ran up to the paws of the dragons, a large smile on his face. “See! The stories were real! The Astral Voyagers are real and they just saved us again like they did so long ago!”
“So, uh, what do we do now?” Diog looked around at the dragons gathered, some still scared that the Shade would return while others were staring at the three large dragons in awe.
“Isn’t it obvious? We party!!” Rose had suddenly figured out how the lights had been taken out and how the DJ booth stopped working. Who knew the Shade knew how to pull electrical cords out of their sockets?
