Some indications for the special layouts: Shadow emblem Big swirl I don't have specific patterns for the big swirl, I just go up and down until I can get rid of the extra tiles in the corners. It might take several up-and-downs, and if I get tiles in the corners (where it's pretty hard to make it disappear before going into the pointy end) I sometimes switch colors. Whatever works, really. This is the difficult one, so I recommend starting with this one if you think you might reset at some point. Little swirl The key for this one is to go towards either of the point ends, until either you get rid of everything, or there's only one tile left. I find it a bit easier to try and bring my last tile to the end at the center of the spiral. Once you have that, start from the other end. Depending on whether you start by converting 3 or 4 tiles (or 2 or 3 if you start from the center of the spiral), making sure to cover the whole swirl and not switching twice the same tile, you should be able to either turn the entire swirl the opposite color, or turn all the tile except the last one. Which is what you want to do if you have just the one tile left. Make sure the inside swirl is the same color as the outside one, and you're done! ------- Four hexagons There's nothing tricky about this one. Solve the two medium sized hexagons. If they're of different colors, randomly click one of them to change its tiles, and solve it again. Make sure you start by trying to eliminate the tiles of the opposite color of the other hexagon. Most strategies lead to a change of dominant color in the solving phase. For the little hexagons, just randomly click until you understand how they work. They're really pretty simple. ---------- Light emblem The light emblem is my favorite special layout. It can be really fast, and it's very straightforwards. I'll describe the strategies, going from the left to the right. A general approach to this layout is to try and bring any leftover tile to the top of the "rays of light". I give approaches to solve each ray when there's only one tile left. If you didn't have to go through this phase, you have been dealt a lucky starting point, and it's all good too ^^ For the first ray of light, the mechanism to get rid of the last tile is pretty much the same as the small swirl of the shadow emblem. Start by converting the five bottom tiles (picture coming later). Then convert the four tiles left, and you're good. If you want to switch the color of this ray, start with the bottom tile to convert three tiles, then convert the top two tiles by clicking on the top-most tile. You're left with a cluster you can eliminate in one click. For the second ray, the process to change colors is complicated, and is a bit useless unless you really want to make [insert your favorite] win. I generally solve this one, then align the other colors on this ray. To change all but the top-most tile, there's a series of tiles to click. See the pictures. The main idea is to go downwards, and then climb up, having done a little loop at the point to switch the color. (Apologies for the different sizes, I didn't crop them automatically) The third and fourth rays are also pretty straightforwards to solve. I'll come back and edit in details later, once I have some pictures done. :) I hope someone will find this useful :D
Some indications for the special layouts:

Shadow emblem

Big swirl
I don't have specific patterns for the big swirl, I just go up and down until I can get rid of the extra tiles in the corners. It might take several up-and-downs, and if I get tiles in the corners (where it's pretty hard to make it disappear before going into the pointy end) I sometimes switch colors. Whatever works, really. Little swirl
The key for this one is to go towards either of the point ends, until either you get rid of everything, or there's only one tile left. I find it a bit easier to try and bring my last tile to the end at the center of the spiral.
Once you have that, start from the other end. There's nothing tricky about this one. Solve the two medium sized hexagons. If they're of different colors, randomly click one of them to change its tiles, and solve it again. Make sure you start by trying to eliminate the tiles of the opposite color of the other hexagon. Most strategies lead to a change of dominant color in the solving phase.

I've got u covered with the light emblem. The trick to the light emblem is to get each ray to mostly one colour, and then "walk" your remaining odd-colours to the very top of each ray and get rid of them at the very tippy top (if you don't hit a suitable arrangement to get rid of them on the way up) Each ray has a set of three single tiles right at its top, and you can use them to get rid of an odd tile by clicking some combination of the topmost one, and the second from the top. You may still end up with a single tile you can't get rid of. This means that you've chosen the wrong colour to start with, and need to find a way to switch all the rest of the tiles in the ray instead. It doesn't matter which colour the ray is once you've fully solved it. There's a click pattern for each ray except the far-right where you can convert it from one colour to the other. You'll know which colour to choose because you'll have that one single tile left over in at least one of the rays if you're wrong. (it is sometimes even required to solve the ray in the non-solution colour first and then switch it over, depending on your starting tile colours!) I'd suggest solving the far-right ray first; once you solve that one to completion you know which colour the solution is because there's no way to convert it over. Here's an example of a single tile leftover, and the click patterns to fully switch rays 1-3. Note how the far-right ray is completely violet, because that's the solution colour. I'd be VERY interested in knowing if anyone has a minimal-clicks method for

1. switching an entire medium-size puzzle from one colour to the other (for the four-hexagons special layout)
2. literally anything for the half-hexagons in the symmetrical special layout. Solution methods, methods for switching from one colour to the other, anything

HOLY CRAP immediately after i posted this i clicked around a bunch and did it but i wasn't paying attention to how i did it ;____;

Easy is easy. Make it so all of the circled tiles in this image are the same element and are the flight's only tiles, then click on them. (obviously, i was too lazy to get it into that configuration) It should allow for a swift win. There are other strategies, like the line retribution, but the corner attack is usually the one you can get to faster to allow for a swift victory for the flight that isn't in the corners. Nonetheless, strategies for all other difficulties except Special are very welcome to me.

@Tunesmith that's very helpful! but i'm stuck... i can't manage to get rid of the leftover light tile in the second ray. i've walked it up and down the whole ray and it's still stubbornly there. do you have any tips? edit: also this one ;; i managed to shove it all the way there but idk what to do now

hi, i did a thing: link. i compiled a bunch of solutions for easy, medium and special (only four hexagon and flower for now) schemes. it's a wip, but i'm still adding stuff.
also includes instructions on how to flip colors in the special schemes!

@chatoyant for the light one it means you need to solve the ray as gold first and then switch it to violet :) depending on your starting tiles iit's sometimes impossible to initially solve it to match the far-right ray. Can't help with tthe shadow one though, I have no idea

I could kiss you right now for adding the solutions for the two special puzzles to your guide
