It's nice that "special" boards are shaped like Shadow and Light emblems, but they look scary.

(so I realized I can't write clearly enough to write a guide, welp)
Anyone making a guide? I can offer a lot of strategies for medium level, but not much on the rest of the difficulties

Here's something I figured out in Special Mode:
Try to make hexagonal patterns of 7 by making the opposite color bunch together. Then, you can hit the center, changing your opponent's color to yours. It makes the battle a little bit easier. I've tried to win Special, but can't!
Does this help at all?!

I get stuck in this position a lot, so here's a quick way to win from there!

I'm finding special to be much easier than other levels. Beat it in 24 on a lucky layout!
Also work from small tip to small tip on the shadow symbol. Whatever end has at least the first two hex's the same color and go from there to the other side.

Does anyone have a strategy for how to beat it when you get have that one middle tile left? I get this outcome a lot.

Nobody wants to tell you why discipline is so important. Discipline is the strongest form of self-love. It is ignoring current pleasures for bigger rewards to come. It's loving yourself enough to give yourself everything you've ever wanted.
I've beaten both light & shadow specials now pretty quickly, all I can say is that I worked from one end of a section towards the other.
For instance, the shadow puzzle has two swirls. I'd start at the top of one swirl, and slowly work my way down the swirl, eliminating any of my non-target color along the way. You can kind of lead a the non-target color in the downward direction by continually clicking blocks below it. Both Light & Shadow have parts in each of their little 'sections' that act as choke points, and once you get a color into those choke points it's pretty easy to negate them fully and go on to the next section.
If I can get a recording of this, I will do so and put it up <3
ETA: Any advice on flipping all the colors? :(

Quick 1-left guide for Easy mode! This only works if the one left is in the middle row (???) but once you get it down to one somewhere its easy enough to get it else where
