When I first joined, I only bought fodder dragons. Mostly because I didn't even know they were fodder or what fodder was, and just thought they were normal dragons for sale. One of the first ones I bought was this Skydancer.

He had Thylacine, but I can't remember what color it was. But dang, I regret selling him so much. ;-; He was sold, bought, and exalted when I did a lair cleanout when deciding to move to Wind. I thought I wouldn't miss him but I thought wrong.
I'm not mad at the person who exalted him or anything like that. I just wish there was a way to get him back lol.

I felt indifferent about her for a while and sold her to my sister when she was still active. But I missed her horribly, and my sis was kind enough to sell her back to me. I was lucky that she wasn't exalted. I don't know why I'm so attached to this snapper, but I am.

You made me think of the all the dragons I snagged from those “Free dragons for newbies” threads when I first got here and I went back into my crossroads to look at them and?? All the dragons I have exalted/sold over the years are all usually from that era. And I kinda miss them??? Its weird, because they are definitely not the type of dragons I like now but just for nostalgia

One dragon I REALLY miss is my progen's daughter, Iara. I bought a replacement, but she's not the same ;w; I also miss the first egg I hatched, but she's been scattered and all that, and like Iara, she's really loved. I'm glad they're in great homes tbh, but I still miss my "first children".

I've considered making breeding projects/G1 hunts to find duplicates.

Yes! This pretty girl was one of the first dragons I bought when I joined the site. I went through a very spur of the moment lair purge a few months later and exalted her. I've regretted it ever since. I'm currently working on a breeding project to recreate (reincarnate?) her. Maybe you could do something similar if you're really missing your boy ^^
