Why were there so many? Craklinne sighed deeply before opening the scroll, she did not have time for this. The reactor plan was set in motion and she was about to lead her team to the site. This was terrible timing. The obsidian and azure young female fled her baleful glare and Craklinne was left alone with the derailment of her plans. The seal was unmistakable. This missive came from the very highest levels, ignoring it would not be possible. The hiss she released as she cracked the wax started ambivalently but ended in a low growl as she read the message. Her fury was written across every crest snap and tail flick, but her voice never rose above its low monotone. “By the Eleven, I have never seen such nonsense. To think I now have to work on this idiocy....” She pushed back from her desk with such force that the stack of papers cascaded to the floor. The crash of paper brought another ridgeback to her office doorway. This male looked familiar, but she couldn’t quite place where she’d seen him before. “Something I can do for you, Boss?” Steve’s happy face and charm seemed completely lost on the tense little fae, but Steve was never sure how to read all the wing flapping, tail flicking nonsense that passed for communication in those dragons. Almost as bad as Coatls really, he mused. Probably the Arcanist’s fault. Her impossibly long neck whipped around and she seemed to really focus on him for the first time. “Yes. I do believe [b]you [/b]can help me.” The tip of her tail twitched rapidly. She took a deep breath and narrowed her eyes. Her tail and body was utterly still. Steve shifted uncomfortably. “The very highest levels in the Tempest Spire,” she tapped a scroll with her claw tip, “and I do mean the very highest levels, are having an issue with their climate control. Apparently the large size of the latest batch of interns combined with hard-working and sweaty engineers that work there have made the temperature at the Tempest Spire too hot and the air too humid. There appears to be something wrong with the air conditioning system. I need you to fix the thermostat so they are comfortable. Do you think you can handle that, Steve?” “Yes, Ma’am!” Steve sketched a lazy salute with his wing and stood a little taller. This was his chance for redemption! The RP portion simply means you can interact with Sparsk or other people (either the people themselves or their dragons, if they want to use some of their dragons for RPing purposes) and interact with how things are going with Sparks, clans, etc while the Thundersnow is occuring.

For example, you could want to have one of your dragons visit The Shifting Expanse during Thundersnow and interact with Sparks / non-Sparks about their reactions to seeing snow in the desert and how much of a surprise it is. "I thought the Expanse was all sand, now I see it's snow!". Whatever kind of story or fun you want to make of it. :D
