in another thread I made theorizing the level of "raw technology" Sorneith has, I theorized that since the invention of the internet was not made, this pinpointed what level of technology the world had (exculuding magic / Technology thats dependent on magic).
And their "output" would be around our equivelent of 1950s to 1960s
My first hypothisus was around 1962, a year before the transistor was made and allowed the internet to be a "thing" from my memory.

outside of context, I argued that the style of the technology seen in the artwork everywhere closely matches hardwear from the 1940s

Here's an image comparison of the latest "technology" drawn from FR to a opporation divice made in the year 1940(s) provided by the same friend in that first thread i linked just now. And we know FR has a very tight "style guide" in terms of how art is presented.

[/quote] ……dejavo… … bakc in another comunity for a videogame, we where hosting a voting gauntlet of comunity made characters to be added into the game. Since there was no live update of the tottal amount of tallies for the vote I took it on myself to make just that for everyone. With that tho i was able to document someone buying votes and that lead to a huge tizzle. and overall as the voting went on from character conepts to then narrower to the art part of it character desgines i still kept track of the votes. But everytihng was so stressful because I was now worryedabout the vote tampering that I randomly stopped on the last few days because I didn't want to deal with it any more … I was shocked when I even missed one day that everyone got supper worryed over me and thought something happend to me. … so that post brought me back a good couple of years, and reminded me I didn't change all too much now, did i? >_^ thank you =) I love reading comments like that, they're what keep me going.

On moons. Not... really an answer, but.

How many moons does Sornieth have? Is it relatively the same distance from its own sun as Earth is? Is Sornieth in an Earth-like solar system or is it the only planet around its star?

Only the Arcanist and his most trusted astronomers know for sure how many celestial objects orbit Sornieth, but it does boast one to two modestly-sized moons that are a welcome sight on dark nights.

So awesome that you noticed this!

When we were designing the Light and Shadow regions, we very much wanted it to feel like at one point they could have been one large area (which is why they have similar architecture), but over time, the Shadowbinder literally started pulling the earth down into the water until it became swampy. The stairwell might have been a last ditch attempt at an alliance between the two before they parted ways for good.

…does
does that mean shadowbiner is going out of her way to encourage a ritual to gather up the resorces of the past, just so that lightweaver cant study it?

man that's petty.
