Yes, I was brewing materials to get a bog scroll when I decided to try and calculate if it would be cheaper for me to just buy it from the AH and sell the mats I have instead.

SO (I used this helpful GUIDE to check the recipes)
According to current LAH (approx) treasure prices, here is the cost of things:
You need these materials if you start from scratch:

3 grey slime = 12 000
2 black slime = 11 800
2 white slime = 31 600
2 gold muck = 19 800
3 copper muck = 12 000
1 blue sludge = 3 985
8 purple sludge = 150 400
2 blue goo = 19 800
8 yellow goo = 11 600
8 orange goo = 31 200
8 red goo = 108 000
6 green ooze = 9 000
16 broken bottle = 2 080
Baldwin brewing costs = 189 400
GRAND TOTAL = 612 665 Freakin' treasure!

Then, you say, well I'll just buy the baldwin mats directly from the AH:

Brewing cost = 185 000
TOTAL = 582 785... That's... yeah

4 fine alchemical reduction = 270 000

I didn't realized that before brewing my mats so here I am, having an Imbued Sulfur and brewing a Fine Alchemical Reduction...

Of course, it's cheaper to brew if you don't want to wait to sell materials and you already have them, but I mean... I could make money out of this...

Are baldwin materials selling well? I have no idea, but guess what? I'll try.

I never realized how expansive brewing could get! Thinking about it, the combined selling value of the goo and slimes you throw in, sometimes, it's higher than the final product's.

Anyway, to answer your question, Baldwin mats sell decently well; they can be a steady source of income if you know how to price them.

Brewing is very expensive when you... boil down... to it

It gets almost free (outside of the treasure you have to pay to brew) if you break down materials all the time
Baldwin materials are best selling when there's a festival or any kind of update that requires them ~ Selling them outside of those events is a bit of a loss imo
