TOPIC | Coliseum: AGI Update
So why are we still getting tinctures if stats aren't being altered? Are we expected to save them for when the agi fix ACTUALLY gets implemented?

I understand that the way that a lot of users use coli may or may not but the way coli was meant to be implemented (and this can be seen by the way that fairgrounds grinding is as well) but I think that it's important to give users the opportunity to min-max games and breed that level of efficiency that sometimes overwhelms the "fun" aspect of games......because to some users like Culex and other creators of well-known builds the technical min-maxing IS the fun part.
Personally I would be interested in seeing new venues that had enemies that required more intricate playstyles that had greater rewards- but still allowed for some degree of fodder leveling. Maybe there are venues where magic-users are REQUIRED to succeed, so elim could be deflated. Maybe there could be venues where you HAVE to have a tank to do well. I think adding more complexity is better than radically shifting what already exists- fodder levelers are the backbone of the FR economy, and messing with their groove could have massively negative effects on the player base.
That being said, I'm excited for so many things in the new coli, and with the knowledge that it won't include radical stat shifting, I know it'll be easier to focus on functionality.

I also second this idea of having "extra" areas to play in. Or otherwise making extra builds viable without sacrificing the efficiency of the current trainers. Like how people level in Kelp Beds but generally take three dragons into the Golem Workshop to explore there. I have several different level 25 builds because even though I do most of my exalt leveling in the Mire I like variety and will visit other places to level. I also used to love taking a set of three dragons all the way through the coli to level them to 25 while seeing all of the venues. (I don't really do that anymore because the price of eliminates made it too expensive.) I would love more variety in the coli. I just don't want it to come at the expense of efficient low-level dragon leveling.

Yes, the breath issue with Eliminate has also been fixed. It's going to probably look a little different visually than how it is now, however. If you expend breath to use Eliminate, the breath will still appear as those it has been deducted. However, if that Eliminate kills a target and procs the breath refund, it will visually fill the breath meter back up.

Sweet. That will be less confusing.
Thank you for removing the Stats issues from the initial beta testing equation and thank you for planning to address them later on.
Yay for bug fixes!

My apologies. I realize that this was not the place for this. Please forgive me.

Um.... Is it really necessary to use the words H*** C*** when posting. Two posts on the front page. I wont go any further so see if there are more. I thought this was suppose to be a child friendly site, but not with that language it isn't.

ROFL. I'd just not feed the troll and keep the discussion going about agility.

People say far worse on television programs aired at hours that small children are watching. People say far worse in front of children. They're going to hear far worse language somewhere else.
