Wait, did they change the thing where the same flight can't get first place dom two weeks in a row? Or was I totally imagining that that was said at some point??

@Beekeeper You're probably talking about Dom Exhaustion: dragons lose 10% of their exaltation credit towards dominance per week the flight gets dom in a row. Right now Light is going on a 20% dom exhaustion :'3

@Beekeeper There was never a rule against flights getting dom twice in a row - and I think Plague did it first, before Light did - but a flight's exalts count less when that flight took first place the week before, and that "fatigue" stacks.
For example:
The week before Brightshine Jubilee, Light's exalted dragons counted as 1 dragon for each dragon exalted.
The week of Brightshine Jubilee, they were each worth 90% of a dragon, or 0.9 dragons.
This week they're each worth either 80% (if it's additive) or 81% (if it's multiplicative).
If we should happen to get first this week, our dragons will each be worth either 70% or 73%.
For example:

Thanks! I still feel like I read at some point that first place meant you couldn't get dom again the next week (but second and third didn't), but maybe it was the exhaustion they said that about and I mis-remembered,or it used to be that way, but changed. (nevermind, @cheyinka said it never was)

@Beekeeper Looking at this list of every dominance winner, Plague took first the week of June 27th and the week of July 4th in 2015, which appears to be the first time any flight took dom twice in a row since exhaustion was added.

Huh, interesting! Yeah, I guess for some reason I misremembered it (or possibly misunderstood it from the beginning), and don't pay attention to dom consistently enough to have seen it happen. Also wow, was it really THAT long ago the Beastclans were added?? I keep forgetting how long I've been here, lol.
