Personally, I want all my dragons to have lore. At 80+ it's going you take a long time, but Im half way there already! Most of the dragons I get/buy already have a lore purpose or vague idea in mind, so that usually helps. What I do for dragons holding things like wishlists is find a job that fits that. I.e. missing fams go with the beast tamer, wishlist goes with the record keep.

Today I want to write out one of my dragons from lore, which will be Sad but I've lost interest in her. Additionally, I want to edit at least 4 dragon bios if I've got the time. It's always a pain rereading the stories to find errors, but considering I've wildly misspelled words before it is mportamt

Because I tend to level the dragons I care about, my coli trainers are generally *more* likely to have lore, lol. In general, I have a couple fandragons that are just there to be awesome (and hold badges, wishlist, etc.) but everyone else will (ideally) have at least a bit of lore eventually.

[center]I wanna lore all my dragons eventually it's been my goal since the start....though i feel like i've barely made a dent in that goal after all these years. but i will say this thread has helped a lot with getting lore done. ^ ^ Although i don't think i can do much lore today since i'll be out of the house most of the day. But I do plan on at least working more on Quantum's bio since I have most of his bio worked out in a google doc i just need to add to his story and add a few more things. So we'll see how that goes. I'll lore all my dragons, except fodder, ofcors... but probably will end up creating some AU lore and characterization for my flag dragons and sitting them in another lairtab (I'm planing to do breeding projects for Argentina and Mexico flagdragons, in a similar way I have Chile).

All other dragons, even those that hold lists have lore related to their job of holding those lists. I.e. Dhakira is a witch-historian-librarian and holds background lore for references; Alamir is a stylist and holds the lists of apparel and genes (basically my wishlist) that I have yet to buy; Kwajah is clan leader and determines whatever the clan has to focus in, thus holding breeding projects for references; and so on.

For today's goal, I want to finish a chapter of background lore, and hopefully write Jur's bio and lore based in previous brainstorming he has in his bio.

My plan is, it has been alleged, to lore all of my permas and [I] actually not keep [/I] dragons that I can't find a story for. The trouble is I'm horribly sentimental, and these days too time-poor to manage a lair cleanout thread. So here we are, my prirate port overrun with free[I]loaders[/I] in place of free[I]booters.[/I] Tonight I've begun refining an introductory story for the newest of my old imperials, a dragon with an offspring list so horrific that I immediately knew he had a story to make of it. Well, he's a bit of a rake. He's lived a carefree, thoughtless life of reckless pleasure-seeking and carousing. Smooth-talking and swindling his way through one clan to the next, changing his look every time he offended the wrong dragon, and starting the whole vainglorious process again in a new place. @Sommerbee I love your clan's theme, and your organisational choices (not to mention your adorable pixel airship!) I'm definitely inspired by your powerful organisational ability. Koti (sorry if I have misremembered her name, I'm on mobile :')) is a gorgeous dragon. Pearlcatcher females always seem to have a mystical, spiritual vibe to me, and I did notice you listed her as a mystic. Her outfit certainly seems to fit the bill - could she be a seer of some kind, or otherwise gifted with an ability which replaces some other ability she lacks?

Aaaa thanks so much for the compliment! ;_; I take pride in keeping all my bios and lore really clean-looking. It's insanely satisfying for me to have everything with one layout, consistent throughout every bio.

I flipped through some of your lore too, since I adore the pirate theme. (I thought of making my clan sort of air-pirates as well, but alas, they wanted to go in a less chaotic direction :P) I LOOOVE your writing style! The little stories that each of them have are just the right length for casual reading, too. Keep it up!

I've only figured out a rough idea for my clan lore recently so I'm currently in the phase of figuring out the basics for all my dragons, general lore, and seeing who I'm actually keeping. Since I'm planning on basing my lore around a wrestling federation I've been trying to use their wrestling theme music to help think of personailties for my dragons. So far I've only decided on music for a couple of my dragons so it's going pretty slowly but at least it's something!

I'm also thinking of styling my dragons bios after wrestling title cards where their "backstory" is just drummed up to sell their character while having a misc. section at the end to talk about small personality quirks and what I was thinking about while writing their bios up. Outside of their bios I was thinking I could write little "behind the scenes" stories about wrestler interactions or "The Daily life of X" as well as maybe writing about specific fights. Not too sure how well I can write action though so I'm a little hesitant to write about actual fights.


I actually haven't done much creative writing since entering university, mostly stuck with history papers, so I feel like I'm really rusty when it comes to it and any skill I had has dropped greatly >.>

I want to have lore for all my dragons, someday! If I have a dragon that just hasn't inspired me in all the time I've had them, or I don't like the direction their lore took, I shunt them to the back of the lair and see how I feel about getting rid of them.
