Our long-awaited Flameforger's Festival is just a few short weeks away, so it's time for a little pre-gaming to get things warmed up!

This is Torch.
She's a bright young Coatl with a fire under her bum, and she's eager to kick off her first festival with a bang. So Torch has decided to run a marathon, passing through each realm to meet as many people as possible so she can get them fired up for the festival!
Torch Pass involves all eleven Flights. It's a sort of Wandering Dragon game to be held over the course of ten days from August 13th to August 23rd, the first day of Flameforger's Festival.
What will happen is that Torch will be passed to one Flight per day. That Flight's goal is to pass Torch to as many members within their Flight as possible. The Flight who has the most number of passes at the end of the event wins!
Plague accidentally exalted Torch and the event was put on hold for a day while Torch was recovered. Sorry for any inconvenience this caused!
The following is the schedule for the Torch Pass. Please note what day your Flight has been assigned and prepare accordingly!
August 13th: Wind
August 14th: Ice
August 15th: Arcane
August 16th: Plague
August 17th: Plague
August 18th: Water
August 19th: Shadow
August 20th: Earth
August 21th: Nature
August 22nd: Light
August 23rd: Lightning
Torch has completed her journey!
Torch will transfer flights either directly before or directly after rollover. For that twenty-four hour period, Torch will be sent to as many users as possible in the flight. A confirmed Torch “pass” means that Torch must have been physically inside your lair.
You must take a screenshot of Torch being in your lair. This can be an image of her profile page specifically or an image of her being in your lair, as long as at first glance it is obvious that it is your lair she is in.
You must then send your name and ID number+the screenshot to your Team Leader. Your Team Leader should tell you on your forum whether they want it posted in a public forum, on a google spread sheet, or PM'd to them privately.
Your Team Leader or one of their partners should come into possession of Torch again at the end of the twenty-four hour period. They will then pass on Torch to the next Team Leader.
You may:
•Dress up Torch and screenshot her.
•Draw Torch and post it in her bio.
•Write a short story or paragraph about Torch's journey and post it in her bio.
•Write a short message in Torch's bio.
•Delete anything you see on Torch's bio that is clearly offensive/inappropriate.
You may not:
•Talk bad about other Flights in Torch's bio (or at all, unless it's good-humored joshing)
•Vandalize other Flight's messages/artwork in Torch's bio, such as changing or deleting them.
•Write/draw anything offensive or inappropriate about Torch herself.
•Send Torch to a member who is not in your Flight unless you are the Team Leader or their partner.
•Charge or give money in exchange for passing Torch except for the 1t required by the CR.
•Pass Torch more than once. (You may have her in your lair more than once, but you cannot count it as more than one pass)
•Bully or pressure users into participating in Torch Pass if they don't want to. This is a flight-wide game, but it is strictly voluntary.
•Exalt Torch. (PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO DO THIS! IF YOU DO, THE GAME WILL HAVE TO END, AND THAT IS NO FUN! WE'D REALLY LIKE TO NOT LOSE TORCH AGAIN!)
Members are encouraged to have fun with it and do with Torch whatever they like to contribute to her story. It won't actually count for anything in regards to prizes, but it'll be fun and give her some great background to look back on.
Here you can see Torch's path for the ten day marathon:
As you can see, she'll be hitting every major realm each day of her journey and it'll mostly be each realm in succession. So she starts at Fire, moves onto Wind, then Ice, then Arcane, etc. Lightning is last, and after her day in Lightning she'll be touching down home again in the Ashfall Wastes.
After some celebrating and some well deserved rest, we'll tally up the total number of participants per flight. Because there's a completely disproportional number of populations between most Flights, the final numbers will actually be calculated taking these numbers into account, similar to how Dom is tracked. The exact ratio/formula will not be made public to avoid any attempts to stack the numbers.
When we've finished tallying up the final numbers, we will announce the Flight who accumulated the most Torch passes, and that entire Flight will have access to certain rewards during the entire Festival, including:
•One free raffle ticket to the Fire Flight raffle hosted by @jesse0319. The ticket must be claimed personally. *note: This raffle is DURING the festival, not currently ongoing.
•An additional 5% off the Dom shop run by @Tobias during that week. This means that in addition to the 15% off MP items you would normally get, you'll get an additional 5% off on top of that, making it even cheaper to stock up on scrolls and festival skins!
•A 725,000* treasure donation to your Flight's community pot, to be decided upon by the community. Whether this donation goes towards your dom pot or a community project pot for genes or lair expansions is entirely up to your Flight.
*TThis number will continue to rise as I receive donations.
Second Place will also receive 175,000 treasure for their community pot as a consolation prize!
*For every 50k that is donated to the treasure pot, I will donate an additional 10k on top of it. Furthermore, an additional 10k will be added to the second place pot. So for every 50k you donate, I'll make a bonus 20k donation total.
Who else will be keeping track of this you ask?
Well, each Flight has a designated Team Leader who will be in charge of coordinating the event for your Flight. This Team Leader will
•Answer any questions you have about the event
•Confirm the validity of each pass
•Keep track of how many passes their Flight achieves and report those numbers to me.
•Ensure that both receiving and passing Torch at rollover goes as quickly and smoothly as possible to ensure that Torch's journey is not impeded in any way.
*note: this does not necessarily mean the Team Leader alone is responsible for accepting Torch from the previous Flight/passing Torch to the next flight. As long as someone is tracking what's going on and has communicated with the other Flights, anyone who is available can accept Torch.
Your Team Leader may have assembled their own personal Flight Team to assist with the event, so you should check your Flight's forums and follow any instructions your Team Leader has posted there!
Some of these leaders are temporary placeholders until a definite leader can be assigned. If you've already volunteered to help your team leader, please feel free to ask to be added to this list so that members of your flight can go to you if they have any questions.
