Ruvy cleared her throat.

“I would have to be with Asher on this one.” She pointed out.

“What are we going to do, with our leader gone, and second-in-command taken their place, when we figure out the murderer isn’t Unearthly?” She stated.

“What will we do then? Keep turning on our leaders as they can’t see to solve our problems?”

“It cannot be Unearthly, as these octopi are not active to the water flight at all.” She inhaled slightly, scanning the crowd.

“But, if you must. My vote remains the same. For now, we seen to be a clan divided.”

Viktor frowned. He had just heard what Nantang had said from someone, and that really made him angry. His child literally just died and Nantang was laughing at Kirby's death. Ridiculous.

He inhaled deeply. Don't let your emotions get to you, he thought and sighed.
This is not unexpected though, Nantang's personality was just this unreasonable, and this was not the first time he was being so sadistic.

But what really made Viktor angry was how both people who originally voted for him only changed because they seemed to not want to be exiled. Especially when one of them was the clan leader. This was truly unexpected.

Viktor paced around. It didn't seem like it was Unearthly though, since there were no Blue Ring Octopus in the water area. There was no reason to trust anyone now,however, with a killer on the loose. But it was unreasonable to exile those who are innocent.

He shook his head and looked solemnly at Unearthly, "I'm sorry, I can't bring myself to trust you any longer. I vote Unearthly."

It was not an ordinary storm at all, it was the leader they had trusted so much, now bringing destruction upon them. Fortunately, no one was harmed, and the storm passed, unable to do more than what it had already done.
