It's been a quiet day in Sornieth. That is, until you and several other dragons, about twenty to thirty, received a letter scrawled in blood.
You are in danger. A creature of great malice has invaded Sorneith, sent by the Plaguebringer. Atleast one of you receiving this will be infected by now. Meet me at the Sea of a Thousand Currents before it is too late for you.
You flew all the way to the edge of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, unless you are a wild claw or snapper. Then you ran.
There you saw a dragon. Bark covers her wings, and her eyes blink with a sense of knowing. She looks tired and ragged, as she is covered in sand, and bandage of blood wraps her left eye. She walks with as limp, dragging her back leg with a grimance.
"Greetings," she hisses in perfect draconic, "all of you. You may be wondering how I know of this... parasite. Well, my whole clan was attacked by it. Two parasites, named Fiyerona and Unfortunate, we're gifted to our clan. First they bred with Zarull, a uninfected mirror, and Yarn, an uninfected tundra. Their hatchlings were born, and out sprang more parasites. We did not know. Two of the children of Zarull were stolen and exalted to the Gladekeeper. One lives, though, stolen to another clan somewhere. However, the rest of my clan was killed by these two slowly, as they infected more eggs and raised a army of parasites against us. I ran and escaped to warn the clans I heard were being infected next. Unfortunaly, some of you have already been infected, though I do not know which. The dragons have escaped now, and might appear here to infect you.
The only way to kill the parasite is to exalt them to the Lightweaver or Gladekeeper to be purged, or float their bodies in the ocean to the Tidelord. Therefore, each day, we shall exalt, you may refer to it as lynch, one dragon we suspect to be infected. At night, however, one of you shall be killed by the infected dragons for this knowledge. Some of you will have ablities to assist you in this issue, but I do not know who. It depends on the training of your clan to you. Best of luck. Some of you... may remember my first letters... Regulus... Sunriser... I hope you have recuperated... you are no longer bound.... be sage..." She whispers as she backs into the foilage, blending in perfectly as she melts away..
A few dragons began to mummur. They would not let their kind be destroyed by a parasite! They all look at one another, assuring themselves they were not infected.
The dragon she dubbed Regulus stepped forward, "Fascination is right. I watched her injure her eye. This parasite is real and will kill you. This is no fools game. Ask me, or Slither, or Sunriser. They were all there. We were all killed and brought back by those who bring back the dead. Take that coatl seriously. Your life will depend on it."
