First was the rockfall separating Giovanni from Levias and the rest of the group. Then it was the small group of explorers in the cave of strings, another rockfall had separated them again. It was fortunate he was unharmed, but the Skydancer felt no luckier than any other in this stagnant system of cliff-side caverns. He was no closer to finding his friend than before. if anything, he felt even farther away from Levias. "And now, we're here..." Giovanni murmured to the wildclaw that he was travelling with briefly. He wanted more than anything to remain by their side, he preferred the company of others. And yet... in the distance he heard a familiar squealing noise. His sapphire eyes flashed in recognition. "LEVIAS!" There was no time to waste, Giovanni charged into the leftmost caverns on red alert for the little creature. The noises echoed and bounced off in all directions, confusing Giovanni. With a sigh, the garnet skydancer paused. With several less noises interfering, it was easier to focus. He closed his eyes and tried to pinpoint Levias. He felt the goblin's presence growing nearer. Now if only they could regroup and get out of here, that would be great.

She may not have the credentials, but she was capable and her sense of direction was well enough.

'It couldn't be... Why do i hear Valena's voice?'.

She tilted her head, and quickly went over her options. Bringing the group back together would be a good idea, but...

The Pearlcatcher looked back at the rest of the group with her, a worried expression on her face as she gnawed her upper lip in thought, tapping some of her claws on the cave floor beneath her foot.

'I could go... but it would be too risky, the others are far more injured than i am and they would not make the journey. I'm not sure even i could make the journey...'.

As much as she wanted to rejoin the others, it was much better to stick together for the safety of the group, and so no one would get lost. Shizue decided to stick with Conrad and the other dragons.

'Besides... we could always rejoin them later on when we're closer to the other group... right?'.

After hearing the voice, Coal can assume that it might be better to tell the others what he heard than to leave them. (sorry for the lazy response it's really late ;u;)

You peek though the hole and it just looks like more of the same. Nonetheless you hoist yourself up and squeeze through. The caverns up here are much tighter, though you can see them opening up a little further on. When you finally get to a point where you can stand upright, you pause to stretch and take in your surroundings. You can see a little bit of light creeping in on your right, but you can hear the music coming from your left.
@Hexacoatl
You continue moving forward. You're so focused that trip over a wire laying across your path. Intrigued, you follow it. You crawl over piles of smaller rubble and walk around the larger piles of debris. The light starts to steadily get stronger. You continue walking until you reach the source of the light... …and see that it leads to an old elevator. There are speakers and leavers built in it so it is relatively new in appearance, but the dust built up shows that it hasn't been used in a long time. Taking a single step onto the carriage made it slightly sway away from you. The elevator is held suspended off the floor. Honestly, you're not sure how safe this is. You can see rust built up on the supports and everything creaks and moans as the carriage sways side to side. It might be safe just trying to climb the old shaft. At least then you won't be caught in a cage plummeting back to the ground if something breaks. You decide to: 1) Use the elevator. I'm already tired enough. 2) Climb the elevator shaft. I'm not trusting that thing. Make your choice here!
@terato @queenmedusozoa @Kapara
Health -1! Still a little tired, you get back to work. Pretty soon you have a huge breakthrough. Moving one of the keystone rocks caused a lot of other rocks to tumble loose. You can see the other side, but the hole isn’t big enough to fit you, yet. The light on the other side is dimmer than you expected. Maybe the sun set? It’s short work to make a hole big enough for you to fit through, but it looks like it’ll be tight, you choose to: 1) Squeeze through. Nearly there! 2) Don't squeeze through. It's pretty small... Make your choice here!
