You tentatively ask if something is wrong. The stranger turns suddenly, as if only just then realizing you were there. They fix you with a long, hard look before letting out a soft sigh. [u]Roles[/u][/b][/center] [b][u]The Corrupted:[/u][/b] [i]They say those who remain in the forest long enough will become part of it. These dragons have fallen victim to the Witchwood's curse, and will stop at nothing to destroy the innocent.[/i] [b]The Raven:[/b] A natural trickster, the Raven can select two dragons of the same affiliation per night and swap their roles. [b]The Owl:[/b] The cold, calculating spirit of the night. The Owl arrives on silent wings when summoned by the sacrifice of a living Corrupted and can choose one dragon to kill per night. Note: the Owl cannot be summoned by a dragon who has already been slated to die. [b]The Parrot:[/b] Capricious and intelligent, the Parrot is capable of imitating the ability of any other role each night. However, the role they mimic is completely random. [b]The Crow:[/b] Birds of a feather flock together. When the Crow dies, the rest of the murder is sure to seek retribution on the killer... [b]The Magpie:[/b] A dragon who's made a habit of collecting shiny bits and bobs. They are able to use their resources to create one fake piece of evidence per night. [b]The Myna:[/b] This dragon is good at impressions. So good, in fact, that they can imitate one other dragon per night and change their vote. [b]The Lovebird:[/b] The Lovebirds are an inseparable pair, torn apart by unfortunate circumstance. They both win if they make it to the end together, but if one dies, the other will surely perish of heartbreak. [b][u]The Imprisoned:[/u][/b] [i]Innocent dragons who have become trapped within the Witchwood. Their goal is to escape and to eliminate the corrupted who would hinder their flight.[/i] [b]The Hummingbird:[/b] Small but steadfast, the Hummingbird draws strength from the vitality of the nature around it. Once per night, they can attempt to heal another dragon or themself, shielding their target from all potential attacks. Additionally, every three nights they can bargain with the forest to bring a dragon of their choosing back to life. [b]The Road Runner:[/b] Impossible to catch alone, the Road Runner cannot be killed by the Corrupted’s night vote and can only be lynched during the day. [b]The Hawk:[/b]Sharp-eyed and sharp-witted, the hawk notices every little detail. Each night, they can watch one dragon to learn their role. When the hawk dies, all they’ve learned will be revealed. [b]The Eagle:[/b] A powerful predator, the Eagle can kill one dragon of their choosing per night. [b]The Dove:[/b] Determined to keep the peace, the Dove is able to target another dragon and prevent them from using their role abilities each night. [b]The Peacock:[/b] A flashy and extravagant dragon, the Peacock uses their fabulous appearance to distract onlookers and sneak in a second vote. [b]The Mockingbird:[/b] The Mockingbird is a master of deception. Each night, they can borrow one role ability of their choosing. [b]The Lovebird:[/b] The Lovebirds are an inseparable pair, torn apart by unfortunate circumstance. They both win if they make it to the end together, but if one dies, the other will surely perish of heartbreak.

[center][u][b]HOW TO PLAY[/b][/u] The two main factions in the game are the Corrupted (mafia) and the Imprisoned (town). During every in-game day cycle there will be a post detailing the events of the previous night and any deaths that may have occured. During this period players are free to investiage, question NPCs, and vote on a dragon they suspect is guilty. During the night, all players with role abilities can send me a PM detailing the actions they’d like to take. Additionally, during this time the mafia can send in their votes for which innocent they’d like to target. If you have any other questions on how this all works, feel free to PM me! A cloak, hood, and staff? She may not be your average scientist, but she's most certainly up there. Her lair is filled with her journals, and she chooses to sleep outside because of it (mainly to protect her work from weather). She researches whatever she finds interesting, and has many journals on odd occurrences around Sornieth. She's intrigued by the new information about the Witchwood (she'd heard a rumor here and there, but hadn't thought much of it), and wants to look into it. If anything, she'd at least be able to write down notes on the birds there if nobody died. Don't think she's a friendly bundle of feathers, however. If you interrupt her work, she [i]will[/i] hit you upside the head with her staff. She's curt, preferring to get straight to the point when dealing with other dragons. However, if you get her started, she'll talk for hours on end about her research. Then likely whack you for distracting her from her research. She always carries a few journals and inkwells with her, and will often use loose feathers from her wings to write with. Don't worry about tidiness, though. She doesn't care if she spills ink on her feathers or her clothes. In fact, she deems comments like that a waste of time, and will likely just ignore anyone who brings it up. She's content with her permanently-stained feathers, and she doesn't care what others think about it. ((Man am I excited for this~! Nice to see you again, Nanosaur~! Also, man. I just realized how this wasn't exactly brief... Sorry about that! XD))

@SilverWinter I'm going to give sign ups about a week, so at the very latest it will start next Sunday. That being said, I'm only looking to have 25-30 players, so if we hit that number or close to it the game may start earlier.
