Though, usually only for familiars and mates, you know. It feels like a bit of a double-cross to me to build up someone else's mercenary company, you know? So I keep my martial pairing separate from my... um, marital pairing? hehe Anyhow, yes, that is usually how I get funds for myself, by offering my matchmaking services to clans that we pass by. It is surprising how many dragons are looking for a familiar to go along with them. I suppose there are more lonely dragons out there than most may realize... And, yes, I do have a match myself. I have two and I'm quite happy with them both. I suppose it would be the height of irony of have an unhappily-matched matchmaker, wouldn't it? My familiar match is a Jadecarved Decoy and my mate is Contrail. Though, I must admit, he had more to do with orchestrating our match than I did. For a courier, he's quite astute in interpersonal matters... [/columns]

In the lair, I mostly just flutter around and help out wherever I can. Carrying stuff, helping find lost things, cleaning, helping with the gardens, bringing messages from one member to the other, foraging and so on. I don't really have any official job and I travel a lot anyway but I like to pull my own weight whenever I'm here. For fun, I usually go to cheer others up or, well, annoy them when they're being huge sticks in the mud. Sometimes I ~might~ pull some pranks. To keep them on their toes, of course. I like listening to Rion's stories, helping Resin out in the garden, watching the warriors train or talking with anyone I feel close to. Astra and Anastasia are especially nice, we often sit around for tea. Generally, I just do anything to keep me occupied and it's always better with others. Also flying. I LOVE flying! "They're an enchantment, of sorts~! My normal form is a bit... intimidating, to some, you see. Deer aren't that scary though, are they? Maybe it's the skull?" They tilted their head before realizing they got off topic. "Oh! Anyway, they help me keep myself in this more draconic appearance. I have a bit of a hard time concentrating, so if I tried to keep up my guise without them, it'd flicker away quite a lot. They're comprised of magic-imbued ink I made with the help of our dear alchemist, so they're very hard to erase once activated. That is, if you're not me! I can remove them somewhat easily, as they are tied to my magic." They gave another faraway smile. "I do hope I answered your question adequately."

Tyaga is silent for a while, as though pondering whether or not to talk to you. Finally, she pulls down the crimson mask and stares at you with scarlet eyes. "I spend time among my clanmates--they're friendly enough, I never feel left out even though I don't participate much in the conversation. Watch the spars, browse the shops, enjoy the cuisine of our clan and our area. I don't stick out much, but I don't mind that. "As for hobbies," she says hesitantly, "I don't really have any. I take walks, of course, all alone and come back a few hours hence, but that's not really a hobby." She replaces her mask and stops talking to you, but you feel she's hiding something.
