THE TRIBE
What's a tribe, you ask? A tribe is something big, something strong and fierce. A tribe will work together, fight together and fail together. A tribe will help you, when you're in need and you will help the tribe when it is in need. A tribe sticks together, a tribe is your family. A tribe is something bigger than a clan. A tribe is a compilation of several clans that wanted to grow, be stronger and fiercer.
How do I join? The Clan Leader of your clan needs to speak to the Tribe Master, in this case it would be the Clan Leader of the clan "Manedblackwolf", meaning it's Blodyn. The Tribe Master will talk to the Clan Leader and discuss the terms of being part of the tribe. Hoping to form a strong and great tribe together.
So everyone is below the Tribe Master? No, that is not the case. The Tribe Master is the head of the tribe, the one you will want to talk to if you have any problems with fellow tribe members or other issues relating to the tribe. But everyone is their own leader, but if anything happens that could somehow impact the tribe negatively, the Tribe Master will take charge and make decisions for the benefit of the tribe overall.
So the tribe doesn't has any leaders or any ranks? That is only partially true. Everyone is their own dragon, but we do have a Trusted Round, the Tribe Loyalists and a Tribe Master. The Tribe Loyalists have certains powers like the Tribe Master. (Like moderators under an admin) They can declare if someone is worth adding to the tribe and they can suggest banishment from the clan, their vote will be weighted more than the dragons below their rank. They work together and with the Tribe Master. To be a Tribe Loyalist they have to be a Clan Leader but it is not forced upon them. The Trusted Round are all the Clan Leaders, they are the one you would want to talk to if you have any problems, but if they aren’t able help you can go to the person above them. The Trusted Round knows the rules of the tribe, and will judge if something is right or wrong. They are the people that give guidance and help when needed. Below the Trusted Round are the Tribe Members each has their own duty, their own job. They're hunters, fighters, gatherers or anything in between. Every dragon has something to do that benefits the tribe.
THE CHEST
What's the chest? The chest is something we all hold dear. It's precious to us, we protect it from outlanders and other tribes, if there are any. The chest holds our most important treasure, our loot, our trinkets, our materials or even our food. The chest is located at the Tribe Master's Den. So far, it's just a single small chest. But over time we hope the treasure and therefore the chest will grow and we will need a new bigger chest or more small chests.
But what do we do with the chest? You donate. You donate treasure, food or materials, you can donate what you don't need or donate what you think others might need. It will all be contained within the chest and be protected from others. No one is allowed to steal from the chest, if anyone steals from the chest they will be banished from the tribe.
What do we do after we donate? Other tribe members might be in need of food, treasure, materials or even trinkets. Maybe one of your fellow tribe members needs to expand its lair, but doesn't have the funds for it. They can then ask the Tribe Master, and the tribe itself, if they may take something from the chest, within reason. Every request needs a good reason and needs to be proven. Every request needs to be a reasonable amount i.e. you cannot ask for all of the treasure that is stored inside the chest. You may ask for help and support. The Tribe Master and the tribe itself will discuss the request and either accept your request, refuse the request or suggest a donation we are all comfortable with.
But what I need is not in the chest! This is something that can happen as well. You can then ask other tribe members, if they have something stored in their clan lairs. If they do, they can offer it to you either for free, or as an exchange. In that case, as it does not include the chest and only individual tribe members, you do not need a reason or prove it to the tribe, but be aware that the individual could still want to see proof.
THE TRIBE MOTHERS
The Tribe Mothers are female dragons that are planning to lay eggs, that have already laid eggs and are waiting for them to hatch or are mothers of baby dragons. They will have the title of a Tribe Mother until the Hatchlings are 1 month old, after that, they can return to the previous duties they had.
HATCHLINGS
When a hatchling is born, the mother, or the clan, decides if they want to keep their new member. There can be several reasons as to why they don't want to keep it. If it's ill or sick, it doesn't fit into the clan colours and patterns, or other reasons the clan might have. So the tribe offers to present the newly hatched dragon, if another clan is interested in it, then we can discuss what to do. A hatchling counts as a hatchling until it reaches one month, after that it is fully grown and has to decide for themselves.
