This is a mafia game I've named 'Shut up already!' due to the nature of the ruleset~
> This game features advanced roles and is not meant for new players. That said, the basics of mafia gameplay won’t be explained in-depth here.
> When the game begins, roles will be distributed via PM, where the player will be given their role and a link to a personal QuickTopic where they will be able to send in their actions and ask questions about their role.
> Day/Night functions as follows: Players can vote to lynch during the day, as well as send in their role’s actions via QT. Night will essentially be lockdown, where no votes or action changes will be accepted (I WILL be checking edit times), and actions will occur AFTER the day’s lynch is resolved.
> When Day begins, all dead players will be listed along with various sections of text detailing the events that had occurred that day. Most actions in this game will by default be considered illuminated, and thusly appear at the start of the day. For the most part, names will be omitted.
> This is a closed setup, roles are not revealed until the end of the game.
> There is to be no out-of-thread communication about this game. The only exceptions is that there will be a group QT for the dead players, and certain roles will be given a group QT.
> The town’s win condition is simply to eliminate all players who cannot win with the town.
> This game contains hidden, unexpected elements in action resolution. Take care when trying to parse the EoTD as such.
> Each Day/Night cycle will last 24 hours, with days lasting between 1:00 and 22:00 FR time, and Nights taking up the hours between them. Night can end early to give players more time if I complete the EoTD before 1:00 FR time, but Day will not end early.
> Player may vote to extend the day once, essentially having it count as a no lynch where no abilities are allowed to take place.
Lorewise, this is a game about robots and a 'big brother' monitoring system that won't shut up.
