Sending things now!
(Accidentally deleted the post. Here you go!)
You walk into a strange cave, noticing right away how strangely chilly it is inside. Still, you continue forward despite your shivering. It isn't until you get deeper into the cave that you spot three unhatched eggs, each unique in design.
The first egg (HalfheartedDoom) is one you can't help but look at first. It's a shimmering white with strange glowing red dots speckling it's surface. You're unusually uncomfortable around the egg, yet you can't seem to resist the temptation to touch it.
The second egg (ThePhantomRose) is unassuming; it's solid brown colour carries no unusual designs on it. The only thing of note is a small crack on the side of the egg, seemingly insignificant if not for the fact that it definitely didn't come from the hatchling coming out. Strange.
The third egg is the most peculiar by far. It's colour is a plain beige hue, but it's coated in unusual bumps and - well, you could be mistaken - but you're fairly certain that each time you look away the bumps multiply.
Reluctant to leave the eggs in such a terrible place, you resolve to take one (since one is all you can carry) and hopefully keep it alive!

@HalfheartedDoom
When you near the egg, you find that it's shaking! In a matter of minutes, a Skydancer has poked it's head out and she's staring intently at you. The glow, you realised, had been coming from right behind the egg. It's a...turkey? A ghost turkey?

@ThePhantomRose
The brown egg, which you originally thought was rather mundane, hatches in your arms as you leave the cave. You're definitely surprised when, from the simple egg, comes a sparkling purple Skydancer with icy white eyes!

@Lucyloose
Even as you watch, the multiplying of the bumps continue until the eggs is coated in it. Suddenly, the egg bursts apart, shell fragments flying off in all direction. Sitting where the egg once was is a rather startled - and grumpy - Skydancer hatchling who seems very discontent with the chilly cave despite what his icy eyes suggest.

You wander in the Abiding Boneyard trying to find your way out and stumble upon a clutch of three abandoned eggs. You will only be able to take one with you if you hope for you and the hatchling to make it out alive. So which will you pick?
Egg one is a bit scratched up on the outside, but it seems to pulse with a strange energy that draws you nearer even though it doesn't have the most beautiful exterior.
Egg two which is located between the two other eggs has merely been buffed by the sand due to it's two companions shielding it from harm. It's shell sparkles slightly and it's beauty is astounding especially in this dull landscape.
Egg three is in the same condition as the first, but it gives off a much more menacing air. Perhaps this baby will come out of the egg blood thirst and insane like some plague dragons, or perhaps it merely gives off that air because even in this state it has learned that being that way is the only way to survive.
Which will you choose as the one egg you can rescue from this desolate place?
