He pauses, sitting back on his haunches and running his hands through his mane. He whines something that sounds a lot like, “[color=#0086CE][size=2]The Arcanist is gonna kill me, I never should have left them by an active laboratory…[/color][/size]”
He shakes his head and continues, “[color=#0086CE]What I need you to do is to go back to your clans and see if you can find anybody who knows about the constellations. Ask your matriarchs and patriarchs about the old legends. Ask any Snapper you see! Ask an Arcane dragon if they know any constellations, I don’t know.[/color]”

Sunwatcher shrugs. “[color=#E77FBF]Well, if we’re ahead of schedule on the world ending, we might as well get those constellations recorded. Would you mind giving him a hand?[/color]”

There are three ways to enter, which all will get you tickets to the [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?board=raf&id=1196802&p=mb]main Starfall raffle[/url]: simple constellations, complex constellations, and writing. Simple constellations are worth [b]3 tickets[/b], complex constellations are worth [b]7 tickets[/b], and writing is worth [b]7 tickets[/b]. Skywatcher is giving every entrant a [b]Lucky Star [/b]for their help as well!

A [b]complex constellation[/b] adds some detail to a simple constellation, either on the star map or as a separate image. This means that any image submitted is either a simple or a complex constellation, so please specify which it is when you enter! Here’s an example complex constellation:

[b]Writing [/b]is either a legend or a report on a constellation. Go nuts with lore or give us a peek into everyday life! Entries should be at least 50 words. There’s no upper limit on word count, but please keep it reasonable; we need to read many entries, after all! Here’s an example written piece, of the lore variety:

It was into this time of great bloodshed that Luce was born to a middling Wind clan.

I don't know how to use computer programs to make the lines... is it possible to just enter the writing section, and give a description of where the constellation is in the sky? I can see about 5 different shapes I could use, but I just can't draw them...

Cinnamon blinks confusedly, then brightens. "Oh! I'm pretty sure we have some old starcharts somewhere in the lair. We use them for navigation, of course, but some of the older ones had descriptions of the constellations on them, I'm sure of it..."
She returns a short while later, clutching a small scroll. "Here we go! This was the only one not covered in a pile of junk, hahah! Let's see what we've got here..."
She unfurls the scroll, which is creased and rather battered-looking, with reverence:

"This constellation is called [b]The Lovers[/b]," she explains eagerly, ignoring the graffiti scrawled on the corners. "It's one of my favourites. There's a story behind it, too! It's really romantic." Her beak softens into a dreamlike expression. "I think it went like this..."

They had seperated some time before, to lend their aid to separate forces, but Aurlyra was desperately missing her companion. She searched ceaselessly for Xianwyn, believing that a dragon of her strengths could not possibly have been vanquished - but she never found her. A comrade of hers, a mighty soldier who later came to be known as the war hero Mul Lok, finally told her the story of how Xianwyn had been overcome in battle. She had fought mightily against creatures of immense size and strength, but eventually her wounds wore her down, and she was felled. Where she now lay, he knew not; and this was perhaps what aggrieved Aurlyra the most.
She became inconsolable, distraught over the loss of her beloved. It is said she spilt her grief for forty-nine days and nights; and as the fiftieth day dawned, spent from the outpouring and heart heavy with the loss of her love, she collapsed, exhausted, by the very shore the pair had used to live. She watched the sun rise over the ocean, as the two of them had done so many times before; but her eyes were dry, for she had no tears left to give.
At this time the Windsinger, touched by the devotion and sacrifice from these most beloved of His children, descended upon the shore, and He spoke unto her in a soft voice. He offered to grant her a single wish, in acknowledgement of her purest of souls. Aurlyra was humbled by His majesty and kindness; and so she spoke, with her dying breath, that her only wish was to be with her mate Xianwyn again.
The Windsinger was greatly moved; and so He took the last air from her lungs and made it shimmer with all the glory of her deeds and burn with all the passion of her love; and He sent it spiralling up, up into the dusty sky. And the lovers were reunited at last, and they wove themselves together in jubilation, and their embrace was immortalised amongst the star-speckled heavens.[/i][/center][/quote]
