Here's my prank for the day!
(As for dragon images, my computer is being a pain and won't let me copy and paste! Sorry about that. The three characters are on the first page of my lair if you want to see them. Also @
ShadowRising I have decided to do a prank for each day. :)
Tikal was super excited about her
secret plan. Well, that's what she liked to call it. Despite not being a Shadow trickster. she loved getting into mischief, and she decided to have fun with the Lightning flight's prank event!
The vivid green Coatl sneaked out of her lair in the dead of night, amidst the clan lorekeeper's thunderous snoring. She had not a dragon, but a place, as her target. The entire clan would be baffled at what they find in the library the next morning!
Tikal skittered into the library, carrying a large object labeled 'Duck Tape' and began clambering up the bookshelves. As quickly as she could, she stuck multitudes of books to the shelves, trying not to wake anyone up. However, her best friend heard her mischievious giggles, and could not resist checking out what was going on.
"Tikal? What are you doing here? It is very late, you know. . . ?"
Of course, that night ended on a bad note for Tikal. But she already had some good ideas for payback time. . .
"Arrrrrrrrgh- it's
transfixed!" the clan's Lightning representative shouted in his usual loud voice. He was standing on two legs at a bookshelf, trying to pull out his favourite book, and in a corner, Tikal couldn't stifle her laughter.
"It's
not transfixed, you nerd," she said as she crawled out towards him. "I just
stuck it there. Did you know that prank was an event from the flight you admire so much-"
Zodzog immediately cut in. "Wait- what?! You are not a member of the Lightning flight's- uh, prank committee! You do not have permission to transfix-"
Tikal's grin grew even wider as he said this. "You need to stop talking so fast, buddy. There ain't no Lightning Flight Committee, I'm just cool enough to prank you guys!"
The Mirror's wings flopped down to his side in dismay.
"Excuse me-"
What the turbulent two had not noticed during their argument is that Evanna, Tikal's 'rather disappointing' best friend, had walked in, observing them contentedly.
She approached the dragons and said, "I know all about this, for I saw
someone taping the library's books last night. As for the clan. . . I am certainly going to help clean it up. "
Zodzog looked pleased, as if Evanna was confirming she agreed with his theory, but the guilt was obvious on Tikal's face. . .
Shenanigans to be continued!
