Very few are blessed with the power of the eclipse. Way fewer are born on the eclipse with another special quality to them.
Daeanea was one of those very few.
Descended from the glitch goddess herself, and born on the day of where the moon overlapped the sun, She held great promise in her magical abilities.
Only as a hatchling, she discovered that she had the ability to glitch between different planes of existence, many of which held creatures that couldn't exist in any other dimension or universe. She discovered many secrets to the magic that was held within existence, and things that didn't exist. Her mind was expanded to the point it couldn't expand any more.
It came to the point she could learn anything she could possibly imagine, and it was time to return home.
But... now... something was hallow within her soul. Something, a great void, had grown within her as she spent all those days alone, only just to learn all she could.
It came to the point she couldn't bare this emptiness any longer. She began a long search across the universe, trying to find the piece that had detached from her spirit, and floated away to seemingly anywhere.
She looked high and low. Up and down. Every single place she had been in her life.
Nothing was to be found.
Regretting her life choices, she turned to return home, when she suddenly heard a voice call,
"Excuse me, could you be another existing being?"
Daeanea turned, in order to realize she had stumbled across a celestial being. He had also been searching for a missing piece of his soul, and managed upon here. He introduced himself as Vitriol, and offered to share his stories of his journey through existence. Daeanea agreed, if he were to listen to hers.
Thus, the two began exchanging their life stories. There was much sorrow, laughter, happiness, and anger as each word spilled out between their lips. Eventually, every single story was told, and both Daeanea and Vitriol realized they had learned so much more from the other than from what they had done alone.
They also realized something else.
What was once an empty hole within their spirit was now filled to the brim. What was once missing had finally been found. Looking silently at each other, it only took a few moments for them to realize what they had been missing.
Smiling, they vowed to be with each other always, for they had finally found their pieces at last. Daeanea was the missing piece to Vitriol's, and Vitriol's was the missing piece to her's.
Now, they want to pass on their magical knowledge to their children, and the generations to come. They hope that the wisdom of their travels will continue on for ages. What will you learn about the universe and it's many wonders?
