He was a kind dragon. Sensitive, polite, generous. He told stories to hatchlings, wrote poetry and helped those who were injured. He was trustworthy, and he trusted in turn. All he ever wanted was a family, a loving mate and plentiful children, he just wanted to make the world a safe place for those he cared about.
When disaster struck, his entire clan wiped out by a vicious storm, he changed. He turned cold, distant, he was no longer the kind and sweet dragon from before. He lashed out in a confused haze of anger and pain, hatred clouding his mind and warping his desires.
He turned his hatred and pain to the deities, blaming them for the destruction of his clan, of his home. Turning his back on his faith, he traveled across the world, searching for others that shared his hatred. Gone was his want for a family, replaced by a need for vengeance.
Body now covered in horrific scars, he wrapped himself in armor and thick cloth, not wishing to remind himself of the very thing that ripped his life apart. He took the name Misery, and hides in the Earthshaker's territory under the guise of being a wandering warrior.
