We're back and with a vengeance, so gather up your hatchling duds and geneless chickies because there's a whole slew of fresh new stars waiting to take their place!

"Hey Zub, what's this thread? What exactly are you recycling and why do I care?"

Excellent questions, hypothetical anonymous user! To answer those questions in order, this is a trade thread where you can offer up exalt fodder in exchange for any of the dragons I have listed below, with a standard exchange rate of 1 fodder = 1 freshie (except for differently labeled specialty dragons). You get a brand spanking new dragon for the price of a dud baby, and I exalt your traded dragon (don't worry, I ALWAYS name them first) to serve the almighty Stormcatcher. I think that's a pretty good deal since that values notably rare, gened-up, and otherwise pretty dragons at the price of a cheap exalt and some Flight cred. Not bad, eh?

"How do I make a trade?"

Easy peasy! Each dragon has an ID NUMBER where it is listed, literally just its numerical placement on the list, and all you've gotta do is say, "I'd like #4 please!" As long as you're the first person on the thread to ask for it, I'll reply and approve your request. Then, you set up a trade with the dragon you requested and with the fodder you'd like to exchange for it.

"That's it?"

Yep! On occasion I like to have raffles and events for special dragons or neat deals, and those will be explained as the time comes, but for the most part, that's all there is to it! I'm hoping to try out some new stuff soon since this is the thread's long-awaited sequel, so look forward to seeing some creative weirdness in the near future.

4/30 - As nice as the reinforced security is, the new trade system is slowing down this thread greatly. I'm going to try and implement some stuff like stage-of-trade info and possibly smaller groups of babies being pinged at a time, just to ensure that the thread is updating frequently. Also, I might maintain consistent exalt dates if necessary, but I'm hoping it won't come to that.


FAQ

Q - "Can I keep a dragon on hold if I'm waiting for a nest to hatch?"
A - Yep! Just request for #X to be held and we can keep it for up to a week

Q - "I sent my request in a message but it wasn't approved."
A - The only way I'll accept requests for dragons is as a reply in this thread, and it's on a first-post, first-serve basis. It's mostly for ordering and record-keeping purposes.

Q - How often do you get new hatchlings in?
A - It's usually dependent on lair space, but typically, I update the thread twice a week or so.

Q - How long does a dragon stay on the thread?
A - Again, it depends on whether or not I need to exalt somebody to make room for more babies, but if a dragon on the list is going to be booted, I'll put a 3-5 day alert in case someone wants to snatch them up at the last minute.

Q - What qualifies as a "fodder dragon"?
A - Literally any dragon you don't mind me exalting. (I name them first if necessary)
