This is an idea I came up with earlier today: swapping dragons with high color contrast. Just like the other swap threads, ping the person above you and post a pic of the dragon you are swapping away. Then send it to the other person via a one-way CR.
This thread focuses on dragons with high-contrast colors—one bright and one dull, or one light and one dark, one bold and one pastel. Bonus if the colors happen to be complimentary.
Note: Complimentary colors are opposites on the color wheel: red/green, blue/orange, and yellow/purple.
Examples of high-contrast dragons would be:
Not sure if your dragon fits? Use your best judgement. Obviously, no all-dull dergs, all-eyeburner dergs, or XXX dergs. Furthermore, the dragon must have at least two visible colors that contrast each other—your Midnight/Midnight/Ice dragon is not allowed on this thread if it has a basic tertiary gene.
Besides that, the dragons you post here can be any breed, sex, age, or gene.
I will trade the first poster this dragon. First poster trades their dragon to me. Second poster trades their dragon to the first, and then it goes from there.
Behold the boldness of Royal clashing with the quiet Silver
Quick Rules wrote:
- If you are posting without trading, put your text in (parentheses) or [brackets].
- Keep in mind that once a dragon is out of your hands, you have no say in what the new owner does with it. Do not swap away a dragon you wouldn't want to be exalted, re-sold, re-swapped, or given hideous apparel.
- Don't reject trade offers. If you don't like a dragon, put it back in this or another swap thread.
- Give users at least 24 hours to accept your CR. If they haven't done so by then, you can give them a polite reminder.
- Please only participate if you have space to receive a dragon after sending one! This is a swap thread. If you want to re-home your dragon but don't have space to accept another, put it up for adoption in another thread.

Examples of high-contrast dragons would be:
- A quiet color with an eyeburner color. (x)
- The dark shade of a color and its lighter compliment. (x, y, z)
- Black and an light eyeburner color. (x)
- White and a dull, dark color. (x)
- A dark, bold color and a not-so-similar pastel color. (x; red and blue are not similar)
- Black-range and white-range. (x)
- Bright and dark/dull versions of the same color. (x; this type might be hard to gauge for some colors that don't have a particularly "bright" shade in the FR color wheel)
