Theme Week: Hope! | Dragon Share

So this is my first time doing something like this. They may not be very good but I had fun making them! Hope is . . .

. . . Bold

Iridescent/Poison/Firefly (Multigaze)
...and crazy and so many other things... Hope is making a leap into the unknown, even when you are scared. It is making that first move, that first step, because you believe that good can, and will, come from your actions.

So going with that thought, I kinda gave her a very ...carnival-esque? look: a little crazy, a little colorful, and a little dangerous... :)

Jupiter/Trail/Stained (Glowing)
...to explore and to grow, even when you know life will hurt you, out of your very own experience. To never let the pain bring you down, because you have things to do, places to go, and people to meet.

To match this idea, I put her in a lot of earth-y tones and gave her some friends. Hey, if Hope can make a family of dogs, cats, birds, and snakes, maybe she can do the same for us. I guess you could say that there is some ...hope for us...? :3

Lionfish/Constellation/Underbelly (Swirl)
...to breathe, to live, to learn, to speak about the things you want and need to say. To know that things are bad, but that they get better and because you know they will be better, you have a reason to continue striving for the best (or even just failing for a while) in life.

With this concept, I decided to keep her in a more blue and white outfit. Blues and whites just seem to represent hope and freedom to me. I candles are are also very symbolic of freedom and hope, but I really couldn't say why I feel that way, maybe something to do with sparking a flame, and all that jazz...? She also has a book, to represent her desire to learn. ;)
