This is a forum for me to update and keep track of lore for my subspecies dragons! Others are allowed to post their own subspecies lore as well or make suggestions of what to add! Not all below have been started yet within my hatchery as I'm working on making space to get them all. I will
not be doing all the the variants! Most are to encourage more people to get into these subspecies. If any of these subspecies have the name of other subspecies around, I apologise but all (except Ice Footers and Pastel Milky Ways) are of my own creation. I may have taken some inspiration from some dragons I've seen around on the AH and some inspiration from random pairs in hatcheries for some variants, but I promise I didn't copy anyone else's subspecies. If I ever get into some subspecies that haven't been made by me, I will definitely be sure to credit the person or people who did and link to their posts. If any of my subspecies or subspecies variants would be apart of an existing subspecies before July 2019, please let me know!

The Off Colour Bee Hives came from a place within the Viridian Labrynth where giant ancient bees roamed. These bees were nasty predators and the plentiful breeds of dragons evolved to try and hide among them. However, their colours were never quite right and those who survived, after fighting those nasty predators off for hundreds of years, had fled to more favourable domains. That part of the Labrynth has since been cut off from the rest of the lands.

The Forest Fillories came from far off lands long forgotten. They lived in grand forests - hence their name. They were not the biggest predators in their old lands but they were the smartest and most adaptive. For as long as anyone can remember, these dragons have always blended in well from where they came. They were like chameleons without the ability to change their colours on a whim. After a volcano destroyed their home, they moved into the different lands all around us. Though most are said to prefer the Tangled Wood, being the closest to their ancient home, you can find them just about anywhere.

Coming from an ancient land of volcanos are the Firery Courage dragons. These nobel and ancient dragons were born and bred in the heart of their oldest volcano. However, a flood drove them out and they now hatch their young using the fires of their ancestors. While the lands of Ashfall Waste is the closest to their ancient lands, they can travel and live just about anywhere. Though, it is required that they be kept warm within The Southern Icefield lest these magnificent dragons freeze.

It is not known whether this is their original home or not, but they've seemed to quite enjoy the place until a squabble within their pack drove them all apart and seek other places to live. They are very proud dragons and rarely admit to being wrong, so you can bet they won't be going back to their pack any time soon.

The Sea of A Thousand Currents is the ancient home to the Ocean Currents, some of the first known Guardians. The Ocean Currents originally lived in the deepest part of their Sea before some of their young got curious of what was above and went off on their own. Some have returned home with their stories of adventure which has convinced some elders to go off on their own adventures as well. However, many still remain within the depths of their ancient home. Not too much is known about them, but they are just as protective as other Guardians and are just as likely to take on charges.

Shining Stars hale from the Tangled Wood. They are the first of these ancient species to have left their cozy homes in search of more sky to see and roam. Not much is known about how they got their magnificent stars but there are some who claim that if you spend too much time dreaming of the night sky, you will become the night sky. However, it is more likely they just bred and focused on those genes the most. They are very diverse and creative dragons, hence their many sub category subspecies.

Shining Stars hale from the Tangled Wood. They are the first of these ancient species to have left their cozy homes in search of more sky to see and roam. Not much is known about how they got their magnificent stars but there are some who claim that if you spend too much time dreaming of the night sky, you will become the night sky. However, it is more likely they just bred and focused on those genes the most. They are very diverse and creative dragons, hence their many sub category subspecies.

The crackle within their skin helped them hide in things like algae from monstorus predators. Many are much smaller than their breed counterparts to help them with such ventures. Despite all of this though, they are a very trusting subspecies. They are also proned to pulling pranks, however, they will always apologise if said pranks weren't well recieved.

However, unlike Shining Stars, Milky Ways' original home was within the Starfall Isles near the Observatory. This is probably the reason for their obsession with the night sky and any potential planets out there like their own. These dragons are very fun loving and easy going.
