Ahh perfect! Here are my mercs:
Chlora, who learned how to fight early on (t'was the family business), and
Phyll, who's got some solid moves despite having never been formally trained.
(yup, that's a chlorophyll joke (; )
These two have history from before they joined the Tabemono clan. A while back, these seasoned coli fighters met, courted each other, and finally had one two many falling-outs. Phyll came out of their relationship more hurt than angry—he was quick to pack up his things and seek a new home. Chlora, who felt more angry than hurt, was glad to have him gone.
Eventually, Chlora could no longer deny the restless energy tingling in her claws. She clan-hopped for a few months, not caring which dragons she fought for so long as they paid her well. Heartwarming connection was the last thing she wanted. She didn't make a whole lot of friends during this period of her life. At last, Chlora found herself walking circles around a seemingly endless forest until a tiny, brightly-colored fellow lead her to the nearby clan of the Tabemono.
... Which happened to be the clan Phyll had separately found and decided to settle within. Well, Chlora wasn't going to let another dragon complicate her plans. She did what she wanted. So she stated her case and secured a spot within the clan, just a temporary one, she assured everyone, and set about making some money before moving on.
Unfortunately—or fortunately?—for these two, moving on hasn't been that simple for either of them. They're sort-of-friends who either ignore each other, have difficult but meaningful talks, or make out. It's complicated. They're figuring it out.
(Shout out to the
Imperious rescue, they're where I got Chlora and Phyll! If you're in the market for an oldie imperial, def check them out (: )
