As you continue to walk, you hear a voice in the distance humming. You make your way towards the humming and, before long, you stumbled apone a large Imperial sitting by a fire with a few other dragons.

Our story "We Survivors Are not from this world, But one that parallels it. A world where the Beast Clans rule. A world where Dragons are being hunted to Extinction.
As the Beast Clans became more and more advanced they began winning the battles against Dragons clans, slaying small ones almost effortlessly. It is unknown how they managed to reanimate a dragon for the first time, but that was the day the tides began to change.
The dragons they brought back were no longer themselves, but husks living only to serve the Beasts. They had no memory, no free will, and no conscience.
At first, they could only reanimate a few dragons, but the more dragons that fell, the more they started to bring back. They crated army's of reanimated dragons to fight, hunt, and wipe out dragons clans of all sizes and flights.
Soon they began bringing back dragons for specific jobs. There were fighters, magic users, factory workers, and scouts. They even started reanimating dragons as gifts. It was rare. But... That's what dragons became... Slaves and Status symbols.
However the day was bound to come that the soul returned to a dragon and they began to remember who there were. And when that day came, it wasn't just one dragon, but dozens. They began rebelling, and going rogue. Attacking their Masters and breaking free into the world. These rebles we're hunted mercilessly but most were never found. It was as if there were... Vanishing.
Word began to spread among those who had escaped that there was a dragon deep within the Starwood strand that had found a way to help dragons escape that world. Living and reanimate the same. Not just escape that world, but send them to a new world. This world.
I remember the day I found her. It had been a long dangerous journey to her hidden lair and I wasn't sure what to expect. I knocked on the door and when it opened I was greeted... By a Fae.
I was taken aback by the shimmering little dragon before me. Her body was like a rainbow with bright pink runes and her wings were like glass. She smiled brightly at me and guided me to a portal opened far in the back of her lair. She ushered me to the other side without a word, and the portal closed instantly behind me.
Like many dragons before me, and countless that would come after, I began a new life here in this world. With what little memories of who I was, and with my history in that world, I found my true home, And I hope to help others find there's."

[size=5][color=Darkviolet] Our Purposes varied depending on what we were brought back for. The magic used to reanimate us manifested itself as different markings on our bodies.
[Item=Tertiary gene: Runes][size=6][color=Darkviolet]-Those who were reanimated for the purpose of using magic we're adorned with runes like myself. These dragons were used as healers, and spell casters. To keep the fighters in fighting condition and put up force feilds around beast clan colonies. These dragons also had the ability to reanimate a dragon using their magic, this however was rare.[/size]
[Item=Tertiary Gene: Opal][item=Tertiary Gene: Glimmer][color=Darkviolet][size=6]-Dragons bearing Opal or Glimmer were brought back to be fighters. These dragons were considered to be the most valuable wepons and status symbols. They were trained vigorously to slay any and all dragons without prejudice. Often they were instructed to bring back deceased dragons to be reanimated.[/size]
[Item=Tertiary Gene: Contour][color=Darkviolet][size=6]-Dragons with no true purpose we're marked by contour. These dragons were veiwed as expendable, and cheap. Often these dragons did grunt work that the Beast clans didn't want to do such as heavy lifting, cleaning, and some times transportation. On rare occasions, these dragons were sent into battle to act as sheilds for the fighters.[/size]

Where as Pure Astral Survivers we're reanimated will no memories of who they were before death, there are some who retain some memories. These dragons are considered Flawed.
Flawed Astral Survivers stand out amongst the purged, as their Tertiary Genes color range is pink. The magic holding them together fused with their souls. These dragons are extremely rare, as they are normally terminated immediately.
Astral Flyers While in the other would, this gene did not exist, some dragons during their transportation to this world mutated. There wings would begin to twinkle and Glow as stars aligned in them.
It's unknow why some dragons change like this during transport and others don't, but these dragons are veiwed as chosen among other survivors. No other Gene is as highly revered as Constellation.
