iz here has a bit of complicated history with the ice flight. she was abandoned as a hatchling and nearly succumbed to freezing temperatures, but for reasons unknown, a spirit of ice intersected a group of pathfinders during their scavenging trip and brought them to iz. she ended up being adopted by fathers tyra and lonnie, and ever since then, the spirit of ice hasn't left her side...and she hasn't aged a day. mages in the clan think iz actually died, and is being kept alive by the spirit of ice, who is remorseful that its patron element would dare harm an innocent hatchling. no one can prove it, though, and iz is happy enough as she is.

Ponde is the one who manages the nests and hatchlings. Though she's a wind dragon, Ponde deserves this spot.
