You've heard of the tree dragons..
but what about the leaves
And The other plant species?

Note: I have a sore throat so I will write what I can for the moment
ef985805c5ae342e17ee6415abdfa043.png

The 12 Flights:
Earth: Earth Plant Dragons are hardy and can usually survive in almost any hot or dry climate they dont require much sun but require A LOT of water..most of the plant dragons of the earth flight are Cacti or some form of Desert Succulent

Fire: Fire Plant Dragons are spicy and often very romantic they love to flirt and flash off their vibrant colors on their wings and fins.. they often use their body patterns to attract a mate.. or even hypnotize or frighten their enemies by making their body colors shift hues..such as an Orange colored dragon can make themselves turn a bright fuchsia or beaming red like a blooming rose if they get angered

Ice: Ice Plant Dragons can survive in zero below temperatures and with little to no need for sunlight this flight of our little subspecies enjoy their alone time and are often meditating to conserve their precious energy or just sleeping under the snow.. most of these dragons resemble Oaks or Pine Trees with vibrant browns and greens and blues rarely ever being brightly colorful in order to blend in with their environment

Light Light Plant Dragons most commonly seen resemble flowering shrubs and blooms like Hypericum Hypericaceae because these dragons live in the Sunbeam Ruins they get the most sunlight and have adapted to living life to the fullest they are often outgoing and friendly and are linguistic gurus ask them anything and they'll usually have the answer..

Lightning Lightning Plant Dragons are volatile..in a good way! these dragons often embody the plants that grow in their home territory in the shifting exspanse..because this subspecies are 100% botanical and not organic they can grow and plant seeds in and on their.. I remember meeting a male Coatl that grew a fluffy lion-like mane of High-Voltage Almonds under his neck and cheeks because the Lightning Flight are natural engineers most of the dragons in this flight are able to make machines and technology this allows them to live with 0 sunlight and little water..they have adapted to living in an environment that has blotched out the sun with constant thunderclouds

Nature Nature Plant Dragons are the most common element of this subspecies due to the fact of the environment they thrive in thanks to the tender loving care of The Gladekeeper almost any dragon in the Nature alignment can bond with and merge with any plant flower or tree and some are even rumored to speak for the trees and plants because they have a natural affinity for the life in The Viridian Labyrinth

Plague this is the rarest of the elements due to the fact that most plague dragons despise any form of Flora that is not made of flesh and bone..however.. these plant dragons have adapted to their environment so well that nobody would ever see them coming.. nor prey..nor foe.. these dragons bond themselves to flora like Venus Fly Traps and Pitcher Plants they love to lure in their prey with compliments and a warm smile before going in for the bite

Shadow These dragons usually are the subterranean species of flora that grow around them most of these deadly but beautiful bioluminescent dragons bond to mushrooms and fungi like morelull deathcaps and toadstools they spread spores wherever they roam and are a vital catalyst in the life and death sequence of the ecosystem to The Tangled Wood
Note: this elemental flight must have a Mushroom apparel to qualify such as the Marshwisp Colony

Water The Water Flight plant dragons can also survive with little to no sunlight but they cannot move too far away from any body of water because they need to keep their feet (where their roots are) constantly wet most dragons in this subspecies are Coral or Seagrasses like kelp or uncommonly floating algae or water lilys.. Coral Plant dragons are very statue-like and cannot get too hot or too cold for they will bleach and turn white and die similar to how Coatls turn white when they get sickly

Wind the Wind Plant dragons of the The Windswept Plateau are most often than not light as a feather no matter the breed of dragon they are~ I once saw a Pipereed Snapper able to fly a few feet off the ground using a rather large kite and harness attached to it.. they all seem to have hollow bones similar to bamboo though despite being more fragile than the other elements mentioned in this subspecies the wind dragons have a zest..or dare I say..Zephyr for life most are musicians or take care of newborn dragons
Wind dragons often bond themselves to light and breezy plants like Bamboo and Cattails and Willow Trees.. Wind dragons require semi-full sunlight and a lot of water in order to keep up with their hyperactive activities~
Funfact: Wind Plant dragons bleed water!

Arcane Arcane plant dragons are very flashy and beautiful but more often than not a few odd balls are thrown into the mix..Arcane plant dragons do not need a lot of sunlight or water just a relatively powerful source of arcane energy
Arcane Plant dragons bond to such botanical creations such as Poison Joke and Manaweed their only real threat besides other dragons and beastclans are Manathiefs a type of wasp-like insect that siphons magic from dragons in a parasitic manner Arcane plant dragons need to hoard all their mana so they are able to sustain themselves on just that without requirements of mass amounts of water and sunlight

I don't know if this is alright but this dragon is based off of just normal trees >~< I mainly got him because of his wood-look, leaf bee, and sunshine runes. I imagine he can keep himself fed like a plant with his runes.
