nocturnes!! they're the closest to wyverns we're gonna get, and i adore their poses (and those neck frills, oh gosh!)
[b]avelorn[/b] here is absolutely responsible for my massive love for nocturnes, being one of my very first (and favorite!) g1s, and i don't get to show her off often - so here she is!
i haven't yet had the chance to write out her lore... but, she's a faerie queen, living in a small, hidden-away forest kingdom right on the border of light and shadow's territories. she rules over the day and rests at night, while the king, saphery, rules at night and rests during the day - the two only know each other from portraits and their subjects' gossip.
however, recently, a surge in shade activity - and a subsequent attack on her kingdom - forced her out overnight. now, she and three others (the king, saphery, as well as her advisor caledor and saphery's court jester nagarythe) have fled to the east.
and while the others try to cope with the loss of their home, and whatever more... direct effects the attack might have had, avelorn only sits there, helping where she can and granting her blessings to the travelers that pass by. she waits patiently, until the day she may retake her kingdom.[/center]

This is Pari!! Spirals are definitely my favorite breed :-) I love their elegant shape, & I love how big their eyes are (so you can actually see their eye colors)! also I have adhd & i relate to spirals a lot lmao
