TOPIC | The Gladekeeper's Beasts [Subspecies]

@Anukfilli I have an interesting idea for a half-beast sub-group. (not sure what to call it) It will take me some time to get the money and genes but I do have a good, clear and precise vision for them. Grey/black primary color, green secondary, and a blue tertiary Still hammering out all of the lore but the idea is that they're descendants of Beasts in Plague territory. They managed to adapt to the rather inhospitable new home by developing a beneficial parasitic plant - one which consumes foreign diseases and other such nasty things. Not only did this keep them healthy, but allows them to eat nearly anything. A boon to healers in blighted lands, these Beasts will lend their flesh & it's healing properties to those in need, you just have to face them in combat first. Mages and Warlords who regularly work with such Beasts will eventually be granted a mark which declares them as friend, and allows them to forgo such a ritual. After the events of The Seed and The Sickness this particular breed of Beast have started to become more common in plague lands - either they're coming out of hiding or there are more Beasts being born. Persistent rumors whisper of even stranger Beasts hiding out in the wastes - smarter and stronger than the average dragon, and capable of magic.

I love it! I imagine that there would be a few Beasts and Half-beasts that ended up outside the Labyrinth, so there's no doubt that they'd adapt to the new elements. Whether it's because they migrated willingly or got captured by some freakish clans is another story though.
