I don't have much lore but I can give you a snippet of how they behave. @VoxxVoleur Hi there! I'd love to do some lore/dragon review swaps with you if that's okay c: I'll start with a few of your kiddos first! I like to start with visuals first, as appearance is the first thing one usually notes when coming across new dragons and I definitely fall into that category of individuals. My initial thought is that Akara gives off a secretive vibe, years of journey and stories untold hidden within the folds of her fabrics. Her hood, mask and coat help with that projection, and I have to commend you for your layering skills! The cape over it along with the rest of her accessories help the lab coat blend in amazingly - I never would have guessed that's what was underneath. I love how her silks accent the other bits of purple throughout like her quiver and twist - more nice touches that really bring everything together. Lastly, Peregrine and Thylacine: two genes that look amazing on Skydancers, yet two genes that I don't think are as commonly used as they could be. Thylacine adds so much character to the face, and Peregrine is so simple yet the feather definition could work wonders with apparel... perhaps it's the simplicity that drives people away? Regardless - her bio is next. I first want to say that I love the template and the fact that you use it across the board with all dragons (that I browsed, anyway). It makes things clean and uniform. I can see why you commissioned her lore from that particular writer, as it's absolutely fabulous and is a piece I'm jealous of not having for myself. I'll have to check them out one day :> The imagery is sublime and I could almost feel the morning air on my own arms as I read it. As perfect as this all is, I would love to know more about why she came to be a guardian of this wall - what drove her to take up what seems to be a mundane task compared to her previous life. She seems to have underlying happiness for her new schedule, but why? I understand if it's left up in the air on purpose, but I think in the future it could definitely be expanded upon if you wanted to go that route! And now we have Anemone. Less can definitely be more, and I think this girl is a great representation of that. Her jacket, boots and especially the accent all do a great job of reflecting who she is. All black suits her. I really can't get over how the eye accent especially helps tie it all together - backstory included. It all just fits, you know? I also can see where the black draws out those dark accents of the obsidian in her wings and the shadows of Gembond, which are nice additional details to note. Moving on... her story. I can see that there's been a lot of effort involved in fleshing her out and making sure the reader can really gather where she's coming from - what has molded her into who she is today and how she continues to help herself flourish. The concept of a more loose structure throwing her for a loop is great and a very real situation that I don't think a lot of people consider, so I loved seeing that expanded upon. It also makes me happy to see when a dragon of such prowess has their abilities reflected in Coliseum levels; I'd expect no less than level 25 from a dragon such as herself. There really aren't enough praises that could be sung about the dedication put into this girl - I don't think I've ever seen so much lore! ___________________ I was hoping you could review these two [s]and I may be back for more in the future - I find it hard to locate people willing to give lore feedback for some reason[/s]! I'm mostly looking to see if what I have written makes sense, if I need to expand on certain details more, etc. I also worry about suddenly cutting things short with my writing, so if you happen to notice any of that, please let me know! Whatever else you'd like to throw in is more than welcome. @ryanhaywire So late, so late, college stop doing this to me. So first off, I chose to work with Sona. I have a friend with a dragon of the same name and the two look vastly different, so this was the first immediate yes. I never would have thought the mix the masque with the birdskull, but it looks so so good. Where has this been all my life? It looks better than the plague doctor masks. The accent matches with it and ties the rest of her in extremely well, and the hat's coloration only serves to bolster this more. The coat, waistcoat, and feathers bring in just that little bit of color that make her look alive. This way, she isn't completely faded out and it all works wonders for her. Overall, very nicely done. Lastly, her quote. My plaguemather. I know that can be taken two different ways, but the first one my brain went for is that a lot of dragons are dying. She's perfect and definitely my favorite dragon with crackle out there. I love how subtle it is, I love how subtle she is, and this is hands down a great dragon. Mosaic was up next. Holy 6 digit. I'm not usually one for blues, but this girl. Her wings were the first thing that caught my eye. Trail is such a geometric pattern, so when it's combined with the wing tangle - which normally looks messy and cluttered on most dragons - it gives her this organic look that I can barely describe. It's like she's a moving work of art. Next up, the primary and tertiary working together with the rest of her apparel. Excellent. The mantle has a solid, grounding presence while the guise ties in with the wings to create an appearance of movement. It also serves to make that section look ethereal as opposed to the solid and real wings. Everything on her head enhances her natural beauty, nothing sticks out to disrupt any of her, and the tail bangle is just enough for that area. Nicely done. Beyond nicely done. This dragon is a work of art. Lastly, we have Alai. As a fan of that accent who can never find a dragon for it to work with, I had to pick him. The Iridescent pairs perfectly with the accent, making it just enough for the accent to dress it up to just the right level. Facet works well with the rest of him, retaining that crystalline look throughout his wings. All of the rest of his apparel works perfectly with him. None of it seems out of place, and I wouldn't want to add or remove anything either. On top of that, much of it takes time for me to notice. It blends in with him so well that it doesn't register as an item. It's all a part of him. Gorgeous. My favorite part of him definitely has to be the gaps in his primary. I can definitely appreciate the fact that it was left uncovered, so the beauty of the accent and his primary could show through. Lovely.

Yes, it is. Not a big change to make. For the first section: I think I get the gist of it. I believe my main issue is figuring this out within Flight Rising lore. Is this in the second age? Aside from that, I think more background on where this ties in to official flight rising events and where it branches off (if it does) would be helpful. Ah, yes, reading on I think I understand now. The next section is good. Perfectly understandable. Ohh, yessssssss. Kamui is wonderful. This all makes sense now. How beautiful. It's relatively short, sliced up into nice little bite sized sections that allow the reader a break if they so desire, and this lore is wonderful. To cover such a long time in such a short space, and to do it well. There's no rushing, nothing that goes into to much detail. A lovely balance. Overall, this is well done. Just needs a little more clarification in the first part to make it really shine. If you ever edit it and want me to look again, please feel free to message me! I love lore and helping out with it. (And if Anemone seemed like she had a lot of lore, take a look at LadyK. Those two have the most out of anyone, and they only cover my first clan. Lady K also has some of my second, but neither story is near finishing). Roman. For the first day of Riot of Rot, I just have to say, he's lovely. Very much reminds of the mesoamerican civilizations. I'd ramble on about this if I didn't need to get to the lore! [s]No don't you say that Roman, you're perfect.[/s] Gah. All of his lore. He's too good? Too perfect? Again, pacing is well done. Nothing seems missing or overly detailed. If anything... I want more? I want to know if he ever changes his diet or just... how his life goes from here. I know this is short, but I don't have anything bad to say. I just want more.

Ah, this was a wonderful review! Thank you so much! I'm really proud of the look of the dragons you happened to pick, so I'm glad whenever someone else enjoys them too.

Personally I love doing reviews for reviews, but it seems like I get shorted a lot. This was perfect and it made my day a lot brighter! <3
