Just want to make sure I get the right dragons. @marmaladedog Hot dang. Klo is one of my oc dragons, so to have someone give such accurate headcanons is shocking. And here we go - I fell in love with Firenze, that Smoke gene, so who I chose to headcanon wasn't even a question. Shell was tempting though. I bet the ladies swoon at his passing, I know my dragons and I would. He seems like clan leaders would look at him and say, "Firenze would be a delightful clan greeter... but he's just too pretty. Can't do it. Assign him to my personal chambers. I don't even have ulterior motives other than needing to bask in and protect that beauty." Many a dragon would pay him to stand there and be pretty. Painters would pay Firenze to be their muse. He's the kind of dragon anyone would want to sit and discuss anything from philosophy to the economy with. He is... the most interesting dragon in Sorneith. [s]I'm not even sorry and I should be.[/s] Despite all of this attention, it seems like Firenze would decline most offers. He makes a good living off of what he does accept, but he's far more likely to agree to these kinds of requests when they're made by friends. He's not much of a party dragon or a womanizer. He sees his share of both, but he could do without. He'd probably make a good father too. Overall, I see him as capable of doing all of the above and just not as into it as he could be. He can party, he can woo, he can discuss, but he's also good reading a book and hanging out for the day. Easy to please.

And yes! The first three rows of my lair is what I consider to be the ‘active’ part. They’re the dragons with (mostly) finished lore. The last row is just G1’s and the other pages are either a mess or hatchery dragons :P

She's stunning without the shock. She's so gentle looking and it works with her lore perfectly. I've never seen the light halo look so angelic and gentle, and does she really have that much apparel on? I didn't even notice half of it, and that's in a good way. The Stained is perfect, the apparel is so beautifully fit into her looks, and I have no words that could describe her sufficiently. The only jarring thing about her is the scarf, but with the lore and the rest of her looks - no complaints. She looks like the type to oversleep a little or need a quick catnap in the middle of the day. As per her lore, she oozes light and earth with everything that she is - but she's not covered in the Solar Blades and all of the light apparel. In fact, she's using a lot of different apparel sets and it works together so well. She's grace, beauty, symmetry, and yet it's all still alive and organic. Her looks fit her lore so seamlessly that I can see her roaming through the earth as she is. She's perfect just as she is and deserves to be worshiped for it. Rather than collect gemstones or strange looking rocks, I think Praja would collect small, round, white pebbles. All the same. Smooth little pieces of perfection. It was a hard choice, I wish I could do more, [s]maybe I will later just for fun?[/s] Aries oh Aries. Alright, so first off - I was going to skip saying this but after three dragons... Usually I see the halos and cards as joke apparel. The stuff that goes on meme dragons, purposely bad eyeburners, those kinds of dragons. Your dragons are all so well done, they're perfect, I'll worship them, and the apparel isn't a joke at all. It enhances each dragon, and I'm speechless. For Nightshade, the cards look darker somehow even though I know they can't be. They just work so well for them and it's just this huge wow. The accent is gorgeous. The wing tangle is holy molly. The herbs, the halo, the glasses, the silks, the tools... everything. It's all so different and yet it comes together like it was meant to be. Like it was made for this dragon with this accent and all of the other apparel. They are one of the most gorgeous dragons I've seen on site, and it's not even the aesthetic or anything that you would normally consider in beauty. It's just that everything comes together so flawlessly, that there is no other option. It has to be Nightshade. Everything on site came together for this singular instance of perfection. [s]And I'm gonna stop before I keep on gushing and waxing poetry about your dragons[/s]

@VoxxVoleur Sorry this took so long, I ended up having a busy day! My permas end at Cedar. Just so you know, A) I just made a new bio setup so most of my dragons haven't been moved to the new one yet B) Aside from Vinelli, any actual written lore is years old, so please ignore spelling, grammar, or any other general writing mistakes ;^^ and C) If you're reviewing anyone on page 2, there's a VERY high likelihood I just threw what I had on them. ---- [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=43906640] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/439067/43906640_350.png[/img] [/url] Aaand let's go! Starting off with this girl, who caught my eye as soon as I clicked into your lair. I adore the rich purples and blues all over her, spotted through with the white apparel (with just enough purple tones that it isn't blaringly white). The purple lace is very subtle and almost blends in, but I love it that way! She's got a very well done, coherent outfit that I feel is a very good example of color theory and how to guide your eye over the sillouhette of a dragon based on how the colors are placed. She doesn't have much of a bio to give me any clues, but going off of her whole look; the magically bright and soft feathers, the laces and the silks, the air of grace and mystery (without being threatening), and the matching familiar all just scream 'Fae' to me. Not just a Fairy, but a member of the mythical Fae who guard the Lake of Avalon and escort you to the gates of death when you pass. Triple Orcas are always gorgeous, but this outfit works to accentuate her colors without covering them up. Night sky silks are a subtle weakness of mine (as you might notice as soon as you wander through my lair) and they work with her beautifully. I also read all the way through her lore, and I think it sums her up perfectly. Cold hearted guardians are one of my favorite tropes. It's gorgeous writing, just so you know! On a side note, I love to layer headpieces, and I didn't realize the Sylvan headpieces and the Fillets look like they connect together. I might have to steal that! There's not much else I could think to add to this girl's lore, but something small did touch me somewhere in the middle. Perhaps she had a family that she lost? Maybe she was abandoned, the weakling left to die; or maybe she was loved, and they gave her the chance to run before they were struck down? I don't think she'll ever tell us, that's for sure. This is the most gorgeous triple basic I have EVER seen, and it's a rare thing to see people manage to pull triple basic off in the first place. The accent is quite gorgeous, the outfit is (once again) perfectly accentuated, and I love her 'wacky independent witch' thing going on. I'd also like to point out that even with all of the apparel she has on being layered, it all layers [i]really[/i] well. Somehow there's even areas on her where it looks like the wires from the birdskull is holding the feathers down beneath it. It's perfect! I know I've mostly ranted and raved about the dragons come before her, so I'll try and give a tiny bit of constructive criticism; she does seem a little bit cluttered in some spots and a little bit bare in others. Balance is a rough thing to pull off on FR so it's honestly not too bad. I hope you don't mind me making any headcanons about sexuality, but she's got Prime Lesbian Energies. I can totally see her sprawling on the couch with her GF reading a Magic Book. (Or perhaps fairytales) ;^^ ----- Ok, that's all I've got! I didn't end up reviewing more than three, but I ended up getting so lost and in love with the dragons I did review that I spent like an hour on just these three. So I hope this review brightens up your day a little! Take your time on my half, I'll look forward to it whenever it shows up.
