As a young Fae, Arek found a small stone upon a path while traveling through the depths of the Labyrinth. As he inspected the stone further and further, he felt drawn to it more and more. He picked it up and took it with him on his merry way. As he aged, Arek never left the stone, his attachment to it was too strong. In fact, his attachment was so strong, that one day, he woke up to find the stone gone, and instead, he had it's patterning.
This small stone, was a Snowflake Obsidian. A simple stone, with a jet black base, and white speckles along it. These speckles are often shaped like snowflakes, giving it it's name. As Arek found out, certain Fae feel a strong attraction to Snowflake Obsidians, and eventually become them, once the attraction is strong enough. Thus, the Snowfae Obsidians were born.

Would you like a bit of help with that? I have a male fae with two of the genes for 'rare'. It wouldn't be a hardship to temporarily pick up a xxx obsidian female and breed them once to give you a female xxx fae.

[/url] My boy.
Although, I should note that crackle is a LOT easier to breed for than stained, as a gene. ;)

Arek is currently being gened! As he's currently nesting, he can't take the genes just yet. I'll be picking up a female soon for him. Thanks for the offer though!

Ahaha I looked through the forumns trying to find if there was another Snowflake Obsidian Subspecies ahaha. They could be honorary Snowfae! We could also affiliate when it comes to subspecies.
@
Lara8
That does look like a fun variant! I might test it out and see how I like it!
