@CoinBat007 you don't have to do anything. There are similar and even identical gene/color subspecies all over the game. With non-infinite gene and color choices it's bound to happen :)
You can co-exist peacefully in your separate realms with your individual lore differences, or you can collaborate together and weave your subspecies into a pair of variants that split off from each other lore-wise in the past. But you don't have to. That's the beauty of the game, is there's room for creative expression of many kinds.
Personally I'd keep the lore and hatchery combined as you have it now. It's nice and easy to have all in one place. More threads to maintain ends up diluting your attention and time. This way it's a one-stop shop.

I think it may be possible - your Hive Mirrors could be a type of Cambrian Mirror that escaped the gods' culling of the rest of the Cambrians and continued to evolve as the years passed, or we could do something different - or we could always just keep them separate!

I politely disagree with bonibaru :p having the lore and sales together is totally fine if the thread is just about the subspecies. But the rest of your hatchery that isn’t the subspecies I definitely would prefer to be in a different thread. IMO there’s two ways people usually do it:
1. Have one thread [Cambrian Subspecies Lore] with link to [Your Hatchery] as one that sells the subspecies, and would contain all your pairs (subspecies and non-subspecies).
2. Have one thread [Cambrian Subspecies Lore and Sales] and [Your Hatchery with All Other Pairs] as an affiliation to that subspecies and vice versa
Either way imo the lore of a subspecies should be seperate from pairs of dragons that aren’t part of the subspecies. BUT of course it’s all up to you. Since you only have 2 other pairs right now it’s not as big a deal
And keeping the species seperate is totally fine, especially since interested people can weave the species together themselves! Which they already seem to be doing. Let their creative juices flow
