Thylacine will always be my favorite tertiary. It was the first gene I ever worked with and I still love it.

It may be one of the cheapest genes, but it's definitely one of my favorites. You can't really see it on this dragon, but I still love it.

My first favourite tertiary would have to be Opal. Opal, seen below on my dragon Noah, is my favourite because it has the potential to add a beautiful accent to a normally boring dragon. It looks especially good on Noah's all-black wings and body.

My second favourite tertiary is Circuit. Circuit's complex patterns just look amazing to me, for no apparent reason except it looks cool. It applies a needed accent in Catherine, my old Skydancer.

And finally, my third favourite tertiary is Thylacine. Thylacine's stripes can go so wonderfully with so many normally plain genes and add some sweet flair. In Ethereal, seen below, it gives a bit of pink flair to a pretty boring colour scheme of gray and red.

Well, to start it off; [b]Spines[/b] is my hands down favourite. Here is my old gal, Valkyrie, repping the gene. It's something so simple, but, it can definitely be a lifesaver for that odd tert that doesn't work. But, I believe for my girl here it suits her just fine.

I believe I've already displayed [b]Pyro [/b]for the primary, but I guess I just really like his outcome. Violet Thyla gives him such a fiery look :D

I use a lot other tertiaries too, like Glimmer, Runes, and in some situations, Spines, but I feel Capsule deserves to have two dragons sporting it. The fact that it's actually some sloshy liquid visible inside the dragon is quite odd, but the color blend and shading are so cool I've stopped noticing (though it has some interesting lore possibilities)
