Also the first two Inkwell Ghosts are named after the first two books of the 'Inkheart Triology' from Cornelia Funke, my main source of inspiration was the poem 'Der Zauberer Korinthe' from James Krüss.
The poem's main story is easily told: the magician Korinthe sits inside an inkpot (or inkwell) and works magic with, of course, ink. Everytime someone sits down to write with ink from Korinthe's inkpot s/he writes something completely different from what s/he had intended to write. So, Korinthe is, of course, represented by the Ghost tert while the Capsule tert represents his magic ink itself.
