And Falor, triple basic.
He will never receive any genes, he's too perfect as he is <3

I used to be really prissy about having gened dragons, but sometimes the uniform solid color of the basic gene actually works to a dragon's benefit.

Any of the Abyss genes would mottle the color and involve more black or blue that would make it match the dark outline of the Butterfly less.

I bred this dragon specifically for these genes. <3 Lapis Crackle has like three colors in it, one of which is the exact same color as Cobalt basic. It makes the Crackle look fragmented in an unparalleled way on her wings. I love her <33

My progens' only Fae in their second brood, Ashes. I was very excited when I found out that at least one of my new hatchlings got any gene from their mother (as their father was and is still completely basic as you'll see later). To me, his bright red wings are like burning logs, while his lace patterns appear as smoke. It's a bit of a stretch though.

This is the only female dragon in my progens' second brood, Ebonywind. For whatever reason, all of my second brood has brightly coloured wings, and I am loving it. She didn't inherit any genes from her mother, and so is completely basic in every way. With her contrasting colour scheme, I think she might be able to kick off a subspecies I've been thinking of.

And here's their father, Bloodstorm. He's a (relatively) high level dragon and part-time bringer of some very strangely coloured dragons along with his mate, Milk. He's my only prominent basic dragon, and I intend to keep him that way.

I tend to go for gened dragons - don't worry about acquiring Gen1s - but I found this little water derg and knew he needed Capsule, and then got stuck. So he's double Basic still (can you tell? haha).

Marrow had cherub at first, but when I changed his genes to give him ghost and stripes I didn't want his cherub to interfere with ghost. So I took it off. c:

She's perfect and I love her.
Nameless, a sickly dragon that appears older than he truly is, has lost not only the bright coloration that Coatls are known for, but also suffers from a sickly appearance, loss of feathers, and several other issues.

I tried to find a gene for his wings, but nothing worked as well with the accent as basic. I wouldn’t have him any other way. He’s TOO GOOD like this.
