They're specialized in calling up spirits to gain information that's unobtainable otherwise or to get them to assist with certain tasks. Although they're a bit of a liability to keep around the town, the other dragons value them for being the one dragon who can protect them from supernatural threats. He's a quiet, stolid dragon who doesn't engage with others much. He's one half of a con duo, with his partner Vale manipulating dragons into giving the pair a favourable place in their clan, from which they leech off of their resources until the clan is left in ruins. Vale does the talking and charming while Ningelu provides backup when things go wrong or certain dragons have to be quietly removed.

After invoking her runes, Yavie gained energy transference magics, converting sunlight into energy, much like photosynthesis. Her gift works particularly well for plants, but also for beings in need of a little light therapy and healing, as she can transfer the sunlight energy to specific targets and provide energy to speed up natural healing processes.
