@Thysteria i couldn't focus on one dragon either T^T you have so many lovely ones, but Cherry and Lumen appealed to my aesthetics the most! i absolutely love love the colors on Lucian and his bio too, though. So, already Cinder is in my good graces. Tack on a lovely and cohesive apparel theme, and brilliant use of colors that complement the ones she was born with, and you have a recipe for my heart on a platter. As someone who once had a G1 exclusive lair, I know the struggle of not only coming up with a gene plan, but also sticking to it and making your dragon presentable during those "in between" phases. You have handled Cinder beautifully. Some things I appreciate about her outfit: -the way that the Hunter set's teal accent color matches with the colors of the accent she is wearing -her pupper. A very good dog, and I'm certain a loyal hunting companion. -that rakish look she is giving the world from underneath her hat, almost daring someone to cross her. Let me tell you, if you aren't, you better dang well start getting proud. Like Cinder before her, Ember is a captivating dragon who employs great use of contrast with her accent, and she is a well-executed first generation project, finished or not. @NotQuiteToxic I've been on a g1 kick lately and I couldn't help but admire some of yours! Her accent and apparel make her colors come together very nicely! I'm not usually a fan of Cherub or Hex, but she really makes the genes work! I'm not a very maternal person, but her relationship with Clover kind of made me want to give my own mom a hug. ;v; Pythia here is also very beautiful! And also like, the biggest mood I have ever felt. I may not go outdoors very often, but I absolutely get wrapped up in whatever projects I'm working on to the point where I neglect myself (ie: anytime I pick up my tablet to draw). She's very relatable! Very regal, and it fits well with her character. I'm SUCH a sucker for green/black combos and his is just amazing. I would cry tears of happiness and disbelief everyday if I owned a dragon like him. On top of that the duality of looking delicate while also being ruthless- there's a lot to explore there. :> tl;dr You have a very nice collection of g1s. Inspiring. :D

@ConceitedCupcake Alright. I first had to comment on your lair overall as I looked at it. It's so beautiful! But not in that sort of "theme" way, in a more "I like everything" way. Your dragons come in all the colors and it's really nice to see such diversity. Really good looking dragons you have here, and I like that they're all just *gestures helplessly* Good. I feel like sometimes non-theme lairs don't get as much credit as they should, you know? Anyway. Allow me to take you on my own little tour through your lair, then. My first pass through, this man, Curry, stood out to me. Which is a thing, let me tell you, because I am (a bit proudly, perhaps) not all that fond of Coatls. Or, really, the color orange? But this guy is such a cutie. I think it was ultimately the goggles that did it, honestly. I've never seen those goggles used in real life, and they were made for him. I love his orange-and-blue color scheme and those unusual eyes. I hope you didn't spend too many scatters on him, although the eyes are perfect. I spent 7 or 8 or something on my unusual dragon. I love lairs that have little bio notes. Bumble is adorable. I mean, he's got his looks, which are adorable, but the poor guy and his attachment to bees. I love how much thought was put into this guy. Like his garden and his relationship with your other dragons. I'll call him Mr. Barnaby if it'll make him feel better. @Almedha Okay, so this took a while because I bounced from dragon to dragon going "I want to talk about that one, no that one, no that one--" the whole time. I also might've laughed extra loud at Chekov and his pet Enterprise. But for now I'm going to focus on Calavera. First of all, I knew right away what this was, even before seeing the name. Her apparel and her wings are so warm and soothing, making her a pleasure to just sit and look at. You know how some dragons are pretty, but they're kind of hard to stare at for long, either because they're very moody or eye-searingly bright? Not like them at all. There isn't the slightest sensation of anything frightening, even with the bones. And autumn is my favorite time of year, so the addition of that skin with its color-changing leaves put another smile on my face on top of that. The little orange bits by her head make her look extra butterfly-like somehow, going along well with the wing gene. Just so lovely. ---------------- (Whoever's next, my finished permas stop at Flashflare.)

@Snek to start i would like to call attention to your username, because in itself, it is perfection. look at it. take it in. appreciate the Snek. my first impression of your lair is that it makes me happy. there's such a variety of color and pattern and breed and genes, it makes me think of my own lair: no central theme, so to speak, but that is a theme: variety. picking a single dragon is a challenge, but i'll get to it regardless (with a shoutout for Skeletoptera for immediately grabbing my eye, WOW what a good color/gene mix!!!). Sundown, though, is a challenge turned into a beauty. there are a lot of factors here which on their own i probably wouldn't notice, but as a single creation? they're gorgeous. the thing that's really catching my eye, weird as it seems, is his tail? there's a layering of colors there with the yellow in his skink coming through that almost makes it look like he's gilted. his name is absolutely appropriate. that APPAREL, too!!! god, talk about emphasizing what he's got. i love that set on its own, but it's like it was made for him. the lightning unusual eyes (which are my favorite color tbh) match so freaking well with the thylacine, i love the way it all blends around his face. i would go to this dragon for makeup advice. really, your use of bright colors and patterns is amazing. love your dragons, love your lair.

Her birdskull headdress and black wooly antennae accent the black parts of her Midnight Poison primary. That and the Gloomwillow Guide that floats around her wings add to her mysterious air. The Gloomwillow Guide and and Dusk Rogue Hood also add to her aura of mystery. Her full set of birdskull apparel gives me that "ahh, the entire set is there, my life is perfect" feel that I always get when I see a full set on a dragon. The accents of her Splash Butterfly and Midnight Poison complement each other perfectly, and that just makes me want to stare at her all day. Her gray-and-red familiar contrasts with her colours, but also add to her as well, creating a kind of yin-and-yang feel, in a way. She's got a beginning of lore in her bio, and I think the mystery that surrounds her could create a beautiful story for her. All in all, I'm very impressed with what you did with Catastrophe, and I hope that she gets spoiled even more so in the future :D

The blood primary and secondary are the perfect contrast to show off that striking strawberry opal. And I'm still a little on the fence about the opal gene but this dragon shows just how beautiful it can look. His lore is short and sweet -- giving a lovely little insight onto who he is and what his purpose is. And his eyes are a wonderful contrast to the rest of his body. No apparel needed on him -- he's stunning as is! Isshan here... I'm not usually a fan of Faes but she wears her colours and genes well! Varying blues and greens blend together nicely and the apparel is a lovely addition, and she looks very elegant and sophisticated. The bee gene plus the wing colour gives a sort of stained glass effect which is honestly so striking. I think she's converted me into liking Faes more!

It took me a while for the gears in my head to click that she was a Skullgirls fandragon and when it did, i was so happy!! She looks very close to Painwheen as possible in FR and i like the use of circuit on her!! The bandages and face mask pull it all together too! She'd look real nice with a bonefiend familiar but as with any KS fam, that's a far dream but one can imagine right? :')

@Strawberrium First of all, I have to say that you have such a lovely lair. As soon as I clicked on it I was struck with all colours and how harmonious they are. Even from the small thumbnail, I felt as though I could get an idea of the dragons personalities and styles which is one of my favourite things! I have to mention Tage. I love mirrors but I have to admit I am rather picky with them. Tage is perfect though :') Desaturated purples and greys are some of my favourite colours and they work so well on her, especially with the brighter apparel! I really enjoyed reading her story, it is so different from others I've seen before but it suits her perfectly. The tome apparel being referenced in it was a notably cool touch! (Note for whoever's next: my lair includes every dragon with a familiar)
