@MoCrawfee I wondered about those dragons! It's a really pretty color combo, and I saw that you have a lot of them. The tert range between Sandshine Tumblers and Cryptic Caveguards is very wide, so there's no danger of them overlapping in that regard! Breeding them together would probably produce hatchlings that weren't qualified for either subspecies. But I like their design and the lore you already have is cute, so I'd definitely be interested in owning one/affiliating with your subspecies hub when you set one up!

How do subspecies work in Earth? For Lightning we have to garner in-flight support before our subspecies moves on to the judging stage, and there's a panel of judges who makes the final call on which subspecies get added to our Encyclopedia. I've thought about putting CCs forward as a possible Earth subspecies since Earth eyes are allowed, but most of the lore is based around Lightning so I don't know if y'all would go for it!

@TheTigersDen Oooh she’s pretty! Some of their terts would be in the right range to qualify for the subspecies, but all of the hatchling previews are nice. I also have a second Caveguard pair in the works! Hello! I'm pinging you because you at one point bought or acquired a Coatl from my Cryptic Caveguard breeding pair, Wrenn and Jaye. I wanted to let you know that the subspecies has now been approved as an official Lightning subspecies and this hub has been established! If you're interested in selling dragons that meet the subspecies criteria listed in the first post, whether they're offspring of the dragons you have or dragons from other pairs of yours, you're welcome to use this thread as a resource.

I've also commissioned a few small graphics and buttons that you're welcome to add to your dragons' bios if you'd like. The code is all there for easy copying and pasting, and the buttons also link back to this thread.

I wanted to put togeter a gen 1 breeding pair so far I was able to get this girl for the price of her Butterfly gene.
