Aw, your Coatl is so beautiful and soft colors...
You're right about the antlers... I think I'm just really attached to this Coatl wearing the bandanna for some reason. Those slippers, though. Somehow so adorable on Coatls.

Actually, my only other girl Coatl doesn't really wear silks either. :/ Actually, judging by the number of dragons I have wearing silks, you'd think I didn't like them at all. Which is not true. I just don't seem to have them.
I agree with you that at times less is more. For this girl, I definitely wanted her accent to be visible, since it's the whole reason I have her.

And you have some gorgeous Coatls. Melani in particular is lovely. I don't think I've actually seen Antique Metallic before now.

haha, no worries, those are some lovely designs. I do that myself, especially when I'm in a complete rut. I designed an outfit for another dragon that I must now admit (with limited modifications) I'm just going to use the whole thing for this boy. What can I say? He'll look fabulous.
I do have to admit, I'm partial to the headdress on female Coatls. They do really wild things to the hair.

I find that its best to try to have apparel that goes over both the body and the wings. The problem with their pose is that their body and wings are so harshly visually separated, so using apparel that bridges that will help, like the sage shawls. It also helps to have more wing apparel because the pose is so bottom-heavy that it's easy for the body to get really buried in apparel, leaving the wings looking very bare and boring.
