He is the gatekeeper, and the clan's last line of exterior defense in case of an attack. Stoic and usually silent, he prefers a peaceful and solitary existence, but nobody mistakes this for a dislike for the clan members: he is proud of his duty and would be willing to lay down his life to protect the others, for whom he seems to have developed an almost fatherly attitude. To her critics, that's what Tesla looks like, but as far as most of the clan is concerned, aside from being one of their finest blacksmiths and engineers, she's the closest to a 'clan mom' that they have. True, a somewhat buff, gruff, and fire-smelling mom, but a mom nonetheless. She has a soft side and can sometimes be found telling exciting (and somewhat inappropriate) stories to the hatchlings.
