I have to say that you were very lucky to hatch her with the color combo that she has, and I just love the general vibe she gives off. Her apparel and familiar are perfect, and I like the little pixel that she has. She is an all together well put and aesthetically pleasing dragon. His apparel works really well with his design, as well as his accent, and while he has a fair amount of apparel pieces on him, he doesn't look too busy or overcrowded. I really really love the general look of him, and the way his genes/colors interact with each other so that he's not just some plain dark dragon. Similar to Hani, he's got a somewhat high amount of apparel on him, and he's also got a busier primary, but he manages to pull it off without looking cluttered. Also his familiar is spot on. THe Guise synergizes so so well with her banner, and that skin just gives her that extra 'deathly cold' feel, while the armor makes a surprising contrast to the soft cloaks. It's just so good, and her lore is great as well! Characters that are related to the river Styx have always fascinated me. 3. I don't think I've ever expected a coatl to look actually good with heavy apparel, such as the crystalhide, but I always learn more when visiting this thread. Honestly, this is just another example of your absolutely stunning ability to make outfits look cohesive! She looks like she's just one piece of art! Where does the dragon end and the outfit start? I don't know! Do you run a dressing room shop? You should! 4. You seem to have a talent for mixing apparel and skins in stunning new ways, and Siren is just another example of that. The snowsquall skin here gives the wings a starry-night kind of look, and the thylacine (a notoriously difficult gene) only emphasizes on the coldness of her incorporeal-ness. And you even found a way to blend the blue into it! Wow! 5. Shuck[/b] Aww [i]shucks[/i] what a handsome boy! I love dark colored Ridgebacks. It brings out their features in my opinion. I love how colorful and mysterious at the same time he is. Simplistic apparel that compliments him just right, the contrast isn't out of place and pulls in the skeletal chimes perfectly. He looks like a wonderfully intimidating and properly bloody dragon. Can't wait to see his lore, HMU whenever you get it written! At the same time, his fairy cat friend says please meet him, so it's kinda adding to his spooky vibe. Overall, I love his mostly black color scheme accented with white and blue! I don't know if the name has anything to do with emperor nero but that's where my mind went. I like him without apparel, but I think that you could also make a lovely minimalist outfit like you've done for your others and he would look just as good! In summary, all of your dragons are good. I’ve never been fond of thyclane, but it works well on Bengal, it gives him a bit of texture. And Bar/Daub is so underrated, so it’s always nice seeing it in other people’s lairs. I flipped to page 2 of your lair - with more pretty dragons ... who do I pick just 5 out of them? - and she caught my eye. Pretty basic so far with 'only' the accent and the mantle but she looks so well dressed and fitting I can't just go on an pick another dragon. If she become a lore dragon - what I really hope for her - I'm not sure in which direction you might go with her. The healer-type? Some graveyard keeper? I'm not sure if she deserves some plague-like lore or if she deserves some pretty not plague-like lore. She will fit into both I guess. I'm definitly want to see her lore once you are done ... if she get's lore. The almandine sturgeon was obviously a perfect choice for her familiar!

I appreciate seeing evil dragons around and this guy definitely seems like someone not to mess with. On the topic of apparel again, the fact that you put such a minimal amount on him but still managed to make him look so detailed and well-dressed is really impressive.[/columns] [columns]Oh, Gladekeeper, I am in LOVE with [b]Xyris[/b]. I have such a weakness for red and gold dragons and his apparel and accent match so well that it's like he was destined for them. Not to mention he has matching eyes [i]and[/i] he's one of my favorite breeds- seriously, given the opportunity, I'd steal this guy in a heartbeat. His familiar and eyes match, as well, which is something you can never go wrong with. The art you've gotten him is simply gorgeous, too![/columns] [columns][b]Helleborus[/b] is another that I'd steal, given the opportunity. While he doesn't have the markings I'd go for with those colors, he makes them work, especially with how you've accessorized him. The art you've gotten for him (that works) is really cool and fitting for his personality, in my opinion. I also appreciate that, as serious and intense as he acts, there's a bit of a silly side to the character, as well. The apparel matching the blue accent of his Python/Morph is one of my favorite things about his appearance, especially considering just how [i]well[/i] the Cobalt Filigree matches it, which I'd never noticed before. (I love, love, love dressing dragons to bring out their accents.) The Blushing Pink Rose looks awesome with his accent, too- I hardly noticed that it wasn't just some apparel piece I'd never seen before. I would love to see this guy get lore written for him someday; he strikes me as a flirty guard, the type to get in trouble for not paying attention because there's some cute dragon walking by.[/columns]
